I feel like there's stuff missing here, in particular their key anti-air and local defense roles in the early game. We always see pros running off hellion packs or reapers with their queens, and they are also the early defense against a raiding oracle or void.

Here I was thinking that you missed the Queen. Silly me, it was the first unit that you covered! This became a great series

Very helpful, I just finished watching all 47 of your unit guide videos. TY very much, one of the biggest problems i've had with sc2 is understanding the strengths and counters of units and I can say that I have a MUCH MUCH better understanding of it now after spending hours getting through your content.

Thank you for this and all the comedy sprinkled in here lol. I'll never forget the first few times I played I lost my queens all the time. They'd spontaneously march very s l o w l y across the map in attempt to defend my base from who knows what. It was faster to make a new one than to march the first one back to the hatch. While sad, it's also comical how they move when off creep :D PS. Queen counters. How dare you. Anyone disrupting their bookclub meeting must be punished.

No problem, I'm glad that you enjoyed! I remember those early days of queen herding too... especially back when creep spread more slowly. Regarding queen counters, it's only fair that I mention them... If some professional games are any indicator, I think I might still bet my money on the Queens!

Yeah of course they are OP, They can move infinite tiles in both axes's and diagonally. And they can oneshot anything. Quite fragile though. Dies in one hit
