I created a new smurf account purely for shenanigans like that. Bane bust to clean up all the garbage rush, bane bust against to wipe out the economy enough to stall him for ages, then go steal a scv and build your own protoss/ terran army and cheese him. Mutalisk as an alternative to bane bust. Those are usually my go tos.

@@Sirkento I can send them all I want, but it doesnt mean he'll pick them. Watching bronze and silver players isn't all that exciting. Playing against them can be though (unless you don't like 6/10 pool, cannon rush, or bunker cheese). Edit: It works maybe 1 or 2 games out of like 15, maybe. They tend to quit before I can pull it off. Sometimes sheer bling is enough to outright kill them. The main benefit is your zerg supply counts for the other two races. So you don't need any depots or pylons (other than to power buildings). Terran is harder since you have to keep recasting neural every like 10 seconds to keep the SCV building. Protoss is just build and done. Once you get the base you can now build workers.

I represent that comment. I'm wood 3 as Terran. Still haven't won as Terran in Starcraft 2. Although I'm rated 2800 in random, go figure, it's my highest MMR by far.

you dont need to really scout, just do a proper 4 gate or 2 base blink all in. there's not much a silver player can do as they have rather specific counters that dont just happen in most builds, or randomly by what a silver guy might imagine is a good idea. well you do need to scout dts in case of blink all-in but that's about it.

I'd say if you go for blind 2 base blink all-ins all the time and you don't mess up too badly, you will likely get to like platinum or something

yep, thats similar to how i rushed to plat with zerg the first time; 14 roach and move with about 8 roaches. Though Platinum was my skill level at the time anyways, perfecting a cheese build can get you to platinum easily

well drones have the kind of sea ray sort of wiggling movement as they hover around so I'd say they have no legs since they float like uhh air rays

What's a phone book? (and why do I never meet players like this on ladder?)

Lowko, the sides of the drones have the same fleshy substance as the mutalisks. I'm going to assume those are the drone's wings, but because they are awkwardly formed they can only float above the ground and can't actually fly.

Mike did have an unorthodox win condition. If he had a good net connection, he could've tried to hold on for as ong as possible, increasing the chance of his opponent disconnecting. Not a valid strategy, since most Starcraft players do have good net connection, but I've lost countless already won Heartstone games to this.

I have seen something similar, Avilo did this cheese on a PUG, using purely a planetary rush without making any other units aside from SCV's.

Just checked mine Filed manual :) drone have Float bladder which emits low frequency energy field :) so yes, it is floating above creep :)

nice i wish my computer had not broken down i have an old game really good from back when i was in bronze vs a gold it was tvz and i bunker rushed the zerg guy killed his main base but didnt see that he was building a new hatch on his naturel then i made a planetary at the zergs main as well as factory turning his old main into my main base meanwhile he made a ton of spine crawlers and started to try retaking his old main but i repelled so many attacks almost felt like a campaign mission then he went brood lords and wrecked me - if only my computer hadnt broken down....

Mike actually seems like a pretty good player (he noticed and evacuated when the nydus worm came down, he knew the scvs could out repair the zerglings damage, and he put the command center in almost the perfect spot to not get scouted) I feel like this might just be a trolling/fun account of his. Nvm he didn't even try to lift off that command center

my first victory was a planetary fortress rush on a melee map. Built the engineering base, crossed the gap between our start points and dropped the planetary center on the protoss head. Did it again against a terran, then tried against a zerg and got wrecked (discovering you can't drop on creep)

The video is funny enough and the commentary just makes this gold. Zainnnnnnnnn!!!!! :D

This is quite painful to watch seeing those lings die by the PFs, yet quite satisfying

You can tell it's silver league because the match went on 12 minutes longer than it should've (once the Terran main was lost).

I think we should call this strategy, the crescent planet rush.

Those fortresses do more damage than any zergling could have achieved to the terrian.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure drones float using like... gas bladders or something. Think fish and swim bladders But like, remember in SC1 how if you killed a drone with more damage than it had remaining hp, it would explode? That's my hypothesis. but they float not walk on little legs :V

The reason he's using Creep with Nydus worms is due to Starcraft 1 needing creep from overlords to build its Nydus channels, he's more then likely a veteran from that game and never used Nydus worms in Starcraft 2

Is there a reason Zerg players going up against this weird terran turtling stuff never seem to build broodlords?

As a brand new player seeing this type of game play really helps not replicate this type of behavior and see that outside the box thinking is more useful
