ESL If possible, could you guys put updated playlists together? Sometimes I can't keep up with the games because of work, and when I come to watch them... I end up seeing spoilers in the titles of the videos. So like.. I'm about to watch, let's say, Kain vs Polt, then I see the next video is Polt vs Trap. Clearly that means that Polt won. If you put a playlist together, I don't need to look for the videos, I just watch it all in sequential order. *From oldest to newest* I hate spoilers :(

Big con to Polt. This great comeback victory means a lot to all Terran players! Hydra is a phenomenal zerg player with a strong personal style. But he misjudged the situation too many times and always fighting off the creep. It's really fun to watch but also costs him the series.

+Rune Actually, a lot of "pro" players intentionally inflate their APM. Watch how many times they give a move order to a single unit. they click 5-10 times in some cases. Also, when you can hear the keyboard and see them in "first-person" view it becomes more obvious. Look up Polt on Twitch and watch for a bit. He was playing the LotV campaign and pressed 30 keys to spawn one zealot, I shit you not (and nothing else, it was at the start of a game). EAPM (Effective Actions Per Minute) is the real stat to focus on, as it looks at how many actual commands get issued, and cuts out the chaff.

When Hydra lost a whole bunch of mutas to a widow mine hit, the camera didn't give us a great shot. Obviously you can't get everything every time. They should have used that 5/split cam more where it showed their faces and their keyboards as well as the map at the same time. very nice.

Spoiler Warning! Congrats to Polt for pulling that back. Both of these players are better at Starcraft than I could ever dream to be. With that said, I honestly feel that terran is a bit overpowered. It seems like most of the games that Polt won in this series were won in the same way. Open up reaper + hellion, maybe into hellbats later, and eventually push out with a large bio force, constantly reinforce, and simply win. What the hell does a zerg do against that push that he won with so many times? Ling Bane Muta just doesn't cut it because terran splits are way too powerful. Banelings are just NEVER cost effective unless the terran screws up. Also on a side note, Ultralisks are absolutely useless and hellbats being able to be healed by medivacs is bs. Are they biological or mechanical? Pick one!

I felt Hydra set himself up for failure by not deviating from his strategy of getting Zerglings, Banelings and Mutas in just about every single match. For instance, he won the game pretty convincingly during the game he went with Roaches. Conversely, look at how Polt mixed up his attacks and constantly applied new pressures and attacks. Polt deserved to win this if Hydra wasn't going to adjust his tactics.

2:02:26 Now that was a cringe worthy loss for Polt. I literally felt my mind fill with grief for Polt yet excitement for Hydra. The outcome was however, much unexpected.

In the last game hydra should have taken a 5th base to the lower right earlier so he could have afforded to lose his 3rd. He was banking extra minerals, there's no reason not to have extra static defense and macro hatcheries, I really thought he could have won it. Long live the zerg

Daniel DeFontes He didn't have time to make a fifth base. In the heat of the moment with all the pressure from polt. Long live the Terran

Hydra has like 475 apm, it would have been nothing to send a few drones down to set up an extra expansion. Polt is a talented player and yes hydra should fear and respect the pressure he was bringing, but I still think hydra could have done it

Wow... just STUNNED by the low quality, performance, and overall level of these players.... Comparing this with Korean StarCraft league is like comparing a black and white TV with a laser projected IMAX 3D.. They're not even in the same dimension..

Joseph Bauyon I love seeing them too but Polt had Hydra figured, they are very vulnerable to Muta ling bane which hydra played almost the entire series :(

You have to be put in a "clan". From there you will live with people like polt. If you get good enough, you will then be asked to play in the Championship. If you are trying to get in the championship, I wish you luck about it.

in game 6 hydra mistake was his army placement and timing he should have send a overseer onto the ramp then put a sustainable force on the ramp and push plots army with his force at the front and bring down the forces on the ramp and surround polt shoot down the medivacs with he Mutalisk then polt will have nowhere to go that way he could have brought more time and no suffer the constant attack from polt
