As someone who used to play Starcraft 1 exactly like that, and am now teaching my 13 year old to play and he does it too, I can confirm. They 100% would have been talking about the super intense long game they played in a tournament.

There’s no way he saw the marines run into his siege tanks😂. He was 100% zoomed in on the scv battle

I saw the marines going into the siege tanks.

Lowko: "it's like World War I where we dug up the trenches" Also Lowko: "Why do you think it's going to go better now though. We've literally just done this fight" Yes Lowko. This is exactly like World War 1.

14:40 Couldn't possible land some Vikings and then have some in the air at the same time. IMPOSSIBLE

Lowko please cast more of these, it does wonders for my Diamond League ego.

I'm just proud of TacoEmissary getting the ranged upgrade precisely at the optimal build time of 48:17. 100% he built the fusion core to make BCs and then realized the upgrade existed at that moment.

Yes. It was slow but I am proud that he was learning during that match. Clearly he is very new and it can be overwhelming at first but he definitely did learn and adapt strategies and try new units and upgrades, albeit very slowly.

I learnt a few thing: 1. They are playing a mind game, literally. See who have a mental breakdown first 2. Their SCVs have more action than other units in the whole game. 3. The valkyrie vs CC dance is the most epic move I have seen like… EVER! 4. Scan has suppressing power, those units revealed by scan cannot move. 5. I can’t decide if this 40 mins was wasted or well spent🤔. The “they are more likely to make Carriers than making liberators” got me

The way Taco just DONATES his entire army, but LoveSong was so busy microing the SCV fight that he failed to notice! 🤣🤣🤡😭

man these viewer games are just the best to watch. so ridiculous. this one was PAINFUL

The best part of this whole thing is that Lovesonq GG'd after a loss of only part of his army that he thought was essential. He was not trying to drag it out as long as possible. He truly thought he had a chance to win even out to the 49 minute mark.

@@Emiltecknar Then why GG? Why not drag it out until the other guy destroys all your structures? He could have kept it going another 10 minutes at least to hit the hour mark if he was really just dragging it out to be a nuisance.

This game is absolute masterpiece demonstrating how true StarCraft meant to be played.

It's how I always played as a kid. 1 barracks, 1 factory 1 starport. Do not waste resources building a 2nd one. Then just wait 45 mins until you max out and have 1 epic battle at an agreed upon location.

I love how lowko is so confident nothing is going to happen in this game that he just leaves for a while

The scv battle was like a unnecassary brawl after a party with too much alcohol 😂

Very entertaining….I remember playing like this when I started…..just terrified to move out, but know I needed to attack…..memories!!

Great cooking vid. Specially loved the part where TacoEmissary repeatedly sends units through a meat grinder. Now I know how to slow cook a Terran army (with my brain as a side dish)

Was this a bad game? Yes, it was quite awful. Should you have actually posted this, Lowko? Yes, I'm glad you shared this cast. The game may have been awful, but the video was still very entertaining. Keep it up! One day I hope to embarrass myself in one of these tournaments. And I've never even played the game at this point.

This was great Lowko, you have to find some more of these; the whole thing had me cracking up!

More of these please, this was absolutely incredible to watch, and not only that, it relieved some of my ladder anxiety because for *&$#'s sake if these guys can make it to gold, surely I can make it to diamond XD

What really gets me the most about this match; is that, despite going on for around 50 minutes and Taco mined most of the map, Taco still didn't have 3/3 for bio *or* mech by the end of it.

I lost it with the “short break” pause lmao

Gotta say, this was some top notch entertainment, listening to Lowko slowly but very surely losing his sanity while making food for the next day. Haven't seen more than 5 minutes of the actual match but still enjoyed every second of it.

Can't believe Lowko didn't look at the apm tab a single time during that match. I really really wanted to see if the purple was still there or just delaying the tournament on purpose.

I didn’t have to micro the SCV battle - a line of SCVs attacking with a line of repairing SCVs behind them. After that, I was just watching the SCV battle and also whilst Taco was sending more stuff into my siege tanks.

I can see artosis from his viewer ffas whispering to the player saying "pls attack"

"ok lets see whats lovesong sees" SCV's, THEY ARE UNDER ATTACK 36:08

The Viking vs Orbital Command duel was the best part

The way Taco was playing reminds me of the trenches during the WW1, lets send a charge into my enemy's arty if that fails send another charge.

Doesnt look like gold tbh, but it is not as hard as it seems, if you watched lowko for some time and won campaign on hardest you should be just fine, i was surprised how good i was thanks to just watching these games, getting used to simple keybidings and group selection takes time, but with weaker players you can be fine even with just a mouse.

Lowko, I'm pretty sure torture like this was outlawed as a crime against humanity by the Geneva Convention

He got so much resources that he could just make 15 starships and suicide the entire army and replace it with only battlecruisers in one cycle.
