I've always felt what set Star Craft apart from other RTS games was it's story. My favorite feature of Star Craft 2 is actually the interactive hubs where you can walk around and interact with different characters and the cutscenes and cinematics, well, what can I say, they are truly a thing of beauty. Sometimes I think the Star Craft story is the most underappreciated aspect of the game and yet it's clear when you gather up all the individual scenes you get a sense of just how important the story was to the creators and that really sets this game apart and really makes it something special.

Props to this person for giving us the perfect StarCraft 2 movie, easily putting at least 10 hours into this and making it into 7 for the cinematic scenes

Although the editing is "easy" just checking that the whole movie is fine would be 7 hours so my guess is at least 10hours playing, another 8 hours editing and a final check would bring us around 25 hours. My intuition is that its maybe even more.

I love that the marine's helmet closes even though he's still smoking a cigar.

Jeez, I remember playing SC1 and Brood War back in the late 90’s/ early 2000’s. Had a copied version of 1 and a legit version of Brood War. Some of my earliest gaming memories. The SC2 trilogy just made it all even better. Anyone else remember that 1234567890 worked as the CD key for SC1? 😂

This has just become my favourite tv show.

I wish the sc1 remaster was actually a remaster. Imagine that games story with sc2 level of cinematics

Check out StarCraft Mass Recall, a mod for StarCraft II that lets you play the entire StarCraft 1 story in the StarCraft II engine. With custom in game cinematics and character models made by amazing modders. I really recommend. And since StarCraft II WOL is free, playing the mod is 100% free. If you’re there just for the story alone. You can change difficulty settings, if your not into playing it at all but love the story, StarCraft 1 also cheats work.

I love this game so much. The first one that I got into was indeed SC1 and man have I been good ever since. Now I mainly play co op mode.

I personally like the story of Wings of Liberty way more than Heart of the Swarm or Legacy of the Void. Thing about the other two campaigns is that despite being alien and more advanced, the Zerg and Protoss still feel kinda human.

Some other machine is going to need to feed him. Those gloves don't look too useful for eating. For peeing and pooping, there will need to be something that catches it on the bottom and opens up when it needs to be disposed of. Overall, not a pleasant environment to be in, but it's do-able with better technology. :)

Yup, StarCraft 2 is not even a blizzard game. Yes it may be written blizzard but just look at it: 1. the story telling is not in the style of blizzard 2. Jim Raynor is not the same person that we all know and love, he is not even speaking the way he used to be 3. the gameplay (the way you control your units) is at best the same as the original SC. Instead of improving it by giving you more precise control of the sub-groups and the spellcasting units in a group/sub-group, they didn't even tried to improve it - playing it safe by not taking chances to improve your products in order to make them better, is not a sign of a blizzard product 4. the art work is not designed by blizzard, it's different somehow This game is made by activision who bought blizzard, and they've just put the name of our beloved developer on the label in order to deceive us, to make us buy it. Also i don't really like games that require you to have an internet connection in order to play them. This is sign of a bad game, and that you don't really own it.
