Zachary the Zealot had such zeal for his zappy zips, such zest is rarely seen and he totally changed the Zeitgeist, he was at the zenith of his powers. RIP Zach

12:45 --> I Can confirm this. The vast majority of protoss players in my leagues (~4000 mmr, diamond 1 EU, diamond 2 Asia) have NO IDEA and just activates the void ray's ability EVERY time they fight something.

Even if you know what's armored and what isn't, I imagine some players would still activate it anyway because it takes time to analyze your opponent's army every engagement. Are you gonna waste time, knowing your micro isn't great, looking to see if there are armored units? Plus risk not activating it because you missed some armored units? Probably a combination of that and thinking that the slowdown doesn't matter much if you're committing to an attack. Also, medivacs are armored so it wasn't completely pointless in this video? I imagine with an a-move they'll get attacked last, but more damage is more damage.

@@the_rabidsquirel Yeah, i do agree. Although, its a lot more difficult to flee from my hydras, since they dont know they can shut it off either apparently. :D

I admire ZERGEON’s strategy. I used to do 2v2 with a friend, and our plan often was “Operation Bling Fountain” - my friend plays the game like an actual person, while I stockpiled resources and prepared to strike with as many banelings from as many nydus worms as possible.

Second game was tremendous fun, very close. One of the few lower league matches where I'd love to see them play a rematch or a like a best of 3 because they were both smart, fast and aggressive.

@@6fukraken Your plays were way better than your opponents imho, you adapted, he just did the same thing over and over again. Next time try to get out a second battlecruiser it would have won you this game as soon as you did.

Well that was my strategy, but aside all jokes my tanks got stuck so i was forced to move the factory or as i think now the barracks would be the better choice 😅

Could someone please explain to me the mechanics behind the mineral stealing of workers in the opponent's bases? Does it really have an impact or is it just trolling?

It slows down the mining process. From what I read online it isn't about stealing the minerals. Instead it causes an issue to how the units mine each patch and they shift to a different one. I think the disruption is fairly minor but at a high level of starcraft, every second is important when it comes to economy.

@@taoofjester4113that’s about right. In SC2, the most efficient way to mine is with 2 workers on each patch (3 offers slightly more minerals, but very little, and everything after 3 does nothing). Because of this, if the worker AI realizes it’s mining with a patch with two or more friends, it will path to another nearby mineral node with less workers on it. However, the AI cannot tell the difference between a fellow drone mining or an enemy probe causing mischief. So when the pro players bring a worker over, it is to make the enemy’s workers on a specific patch think they’re being inefficient and move to a different patch. This makes the enemy lose a tiny bit of mining time. So in conclusion, it’s very little overall denied mining, but like you said, every second counts in the early game

Honestly, the second game was pretty damn nice, all things considered. Thumbs up to both Kraken and ZERGON.

He spent more resources on Nydus Worms than the actual army. I almost never use Nyduses, because I am just too autistic to pay for them. I don't like the resource cost.

As somebody who works on phones, static is likely an issue with wiring, make sure that all of the audio jacks for the mic are tight or try reseating them

my god game 1, that terran handled those fights as poorly as he possibly could lol just shooting 100% HP targets when there are weakened adepts begging to die, not to mention letting the SCVs screw around with probes doing no damage at all, when they could've a-moved or even focused the sentries........

Game 2: he could of destroyed his opponents depots and he stopped his zerglins from attacking it and sent to unmanned refineries in a abandoned base.

Audio hardware is weird that way. Usually plugging it off and on again usually fix it thankfully .

check if anything has bluetooth on for that static sound.

Lowko, make sure the gain on any head set is low. Boost the gain in windows instead.
