Well that was certainly a surprise to hear my name when listening to this! All credit to my opponent, I felt hemmed in and like I couldn't break out the entire time. It was a very fun game and I think my longest that day. I'd been practicing macro specifically around the time that game happened (I remember the opening conversation!) so I'm happy that I managed to max out before the game ended! Again it was an awesome game, the right terran player won, and awesome to go back over it with expert commentary! Thank you Psychophobe for a good game, and thank you Winter for commentating! GLHF fun everyone else, and I'll see you on the ladder!

Every time you have a visual on vikings w/ yamato ready battlecruisers, hit the hot key for yamato, click a viking, then hit hot key, click another yamato... you can do it quickly (yamato click yamato click yamato click yamato click) and basically delete as many vikings off the map as you have battlecruisers. Using yamato on turrets is sort of a waste because the turret can't chase you.

I'm dying to know, what would a scan need to reveal for you to refrain from charging in?

I love the fact that they let command centers burn down repeatedly but will drop a mule to repair a missile turret. Priorities.

Consider: the turrets killed my battlecruisers.

I have to say, it was a nice Protoss vs Zerg game. Protoss-Terran: I care for my army. Every soldier is precious. I will anihilate my enemies with superior technology, upgrades, and tactics. Zerg-Terran: Send 50 marines to kill a single tank, they are expendable. We can make more, more, more. Bases and scans everywhere! Entire map is mine!

Tim the Turret Legend was another good example that comes to mind but I find normally there is one player with much better macro but terrible decision making who just repeatedly runs into obvious death traps

I know right, especially when there was an SCV mining gas that could have saved it! I was a little sad that Winter didn't do a "Will It Burn!", but it's health was so low that it likely didn't warrant it.

Holy shit, that 10 chain scan had me tearing up

More marines died in this game than all of GSL.

Somehow, bronze league is consistent. They are surprisingly even at 12:40: 54 scv each on 4 bases 😂 And also at 21:45: 64 scvs, 90army. Thanks winter to remind us where we all come from. 👌

Blue guy reminds me of being a 10 year old playing a campaign mission for the 15th time. "Let's see how much money I can save up this time." "I can't believe they just send marines for a half hour straight." "There's this funny easter egg where if you wait 40 minutes they make a bunch of battlecruisers."

I'm just happy that these guys get to play in a bracket that matches their abilities. Death toll is out of this world

@@grahamwellard1829 Were you red? Idk if you've realized yet but battle cruisers shoot while moving, so you generally want to move command them over whatever you're attacking so they don't just stop attacking whenever what you're fighting takes one step backwards.

Do you sometimes wonder, if Blizzard should patch scans to do 1 or 2 points of radiation damage? Nothing would change, exept in bronce league. They would build 50 orbitals.

The commentator's reaction when they put down like 10 scans at the same time was funny!

This game has more scans than I did the entire last week.

These guys are absolutely legend in showing how to not lose a game of starcraft. Problem is they don't win either.

I inflicted nearly 20 points of repairable damage. Honestly, it was BM of my opponent to not quit after seeing my resolve in that moment.

Bloodbath isn't strong enough, this was a blood power wash.

Scans within scans interlinked within scans interlinked within scans interlinked within one orbital. And against the dark a sieged liberator danced.

This was a reasonably high marine percentage play. (About 50 % of total mined resources were spent on marines.)

i'm convinced that in bronze league all you need is planetary fortresses and widow mines the true blood gods and slayers of noobs

All the units in the match died a few months later due to the cancer they got from all the damn scans

I don't play Terran but I can only imagine the amount of minerals if the energy had been used for MULEs instead of a ton of scans. Also if you have that large a bank of resources wouldn't you just go mech or battle cruisers as its a better store of value than bio. Just build 20-30 fully upgraded bc or thors and you can probaby just a move regardless of defenses.
