the miss mechanic was never the major issue with attacking highground in SC1, it was the ramps: pathing through a choke was an ungodly nightmare even for stuff like zerglings and marines, let alone a nice well balanced mixed army formation/composition. the miss/glance chance was a nice advantage but what let 50 supply fight 150 and win with ~40 left if the 150 couldn't apply specific tools was absolutely the pathing, especially if there were multiple ramps up to an area.

Gumiho, maaaan, he's soooo good. He seems so strong rn. Even tho he's playing such an unconventional style most of the time every game I've seen Lowko cast this past week or two Gumiho was amazing Upd: tho here it seems like he relaxed just a bit too much. Maybe he was having a bad day or smth, I don't know, but he played a lot better in other casts. Still really fun tho.

There really is no downsides to building disruptors. If they nerfed the movement speed of the disruptor shot, then maybe there would be some room for counterplay. Protoss is jsut overtuned at every opportunity

Maybe medivac can just land to avoid the phoenix xD

Maybe Gumiho should try mech against Protoss, though it seems he lost to Zoun when he went mass Battlecruisers and Thors.

@@TheVirtual3 I Know! hehehe, In a real "Futuristic" ideal scenario, It would be a Drone AI guided machine/Drone that would be able to salvageable/sacrifice for the sake of the soldiers. I mean. I can picture a scenario where the marine leader, aka "Roy", according to most of Lowko's Terran mini story of each early terran game, would yell to the other boys been transported: "Tuck and Roll boys, we're coming in hot" and the medivac would try to return or be sacrifice when Stalker are chasing.

If Gumi didn't have those orifices he would be more aerodynamic and therefore have better apm... alas...

Hello. How are you doing?

proably gonna get hate for this, but i fell like terran units comb is far underpowered compard to zerg and protoss. there is so many ways they can completly overwhelming terran now, i feel like they need a new unit or base, that can help with defense or offense. maybe something with a skill cool down, or energy,. using oracle/disruptor protoss can easily do early-late game mass dps, zerg using ravager/corruptor/infestor/viper, all of these units if used right can make alot of super hard counters, of course it verys, but the amount they can do with just 1-2 of them in any army can be huge. i understand, window/liberator/cyclone/raven can be good, but all of them is pointless with just a few of the others on the map. cyclones being good early on, to mid, but thats all. raven is good even in late game, but if you use speed/air they are easly counted, window just gotta add something to see them, and they can be countered, liberator is good early-mid for some defense or cheese XD but vs air alot of things just over power them. they need other unit that i do belive that can do the same

why doesn't anyone build ravens....

@@jasonlynch282 Wrong - Terran always has extra gas when playing Bio. Its because of how build orders work - they have to make Medivacs and Vikings to support Bio & can only have one Starport until the late game, so it obviously has to have a reactor on it.

@@hivetech4903 exactly the gas cost, you summed it up well. Need medevac and tanks more then ravens. Just better gas to value. So again it's a cost issue.
