Ahh, Starbound. It could’ve been so much more than it ended up being. One of my favorite features that I actually like _BETTER_ than Terraria is that every single weapon either can be dual-wielded or has a special attack. My go-to loadout has always been: - Spear (flurry) - Shortsword + flashlight - dual machine pistols - Shotgun (shrapnel bomb) - Sniper Rifle (explosive shot)

I have been waiting patiently for a new upload! This channel is among my favorites.

Funnily enough, me and my partner just picked up starbound again after years, and are playing through it with mods. I remember the game really boring me and failing to live up to terraria, but with mods, everything changes ;p

I always felt starbound was the far better game for mods, compared to terraria which, when i tried to mod it, it felt clunky.

WAIT how tf does this channel only have 13k subs? I was watching this the entire day and didn't look at the sub count. I thought it was a 700k channel or smth. Keep up the amazing content, this is a small gem of KZread content!

Amazing as always! One of the first experiences I remember was trying to get my girlfriend into my genre's of games by getting her to play MMORPS's with me. Lets just say that dozens of abilities and UI that can fill up half your screen didn't make it easy. A lesson was learned, and I continued levelling characters solo xD.

This Channel Is So Underrated

I really love the difference between everyone else learning about Terraria and Starbound, and me learning about these games. Because I knew Starbound long before I knew Terraria, and thus called Terraria „Starbound, but without the spaceships“.

You know what you guys should try is mods one of my personal favorites is a mod that Captain southbird created with his friends and viewers it's a collection of mods that makes the game longer and more fun not only that there's a mod where allows you to build and customize your own ship I've seen people build death stars massive ships and I have actually have builds a massive ship of course the world in space works the same way as a planet so you can basically loop around hint some people built the death Star it's called fracking universe that's the mod that allows you to build things but the official mod that was created by the captain southbird) is (More Mod Crap) look for the picture of a cat looking very smug it's a white and brown looking thing you can also check his channel to look for the mod it's on one of his videos I think if you ever once the link to the mod let me know also also if you really want something cute pick up (Kobold Race) it's adorable and you might like it anyway I hope you guys have fun with this game and the mods that I give you I prefer this collection than anything else maybe because a long time ago South bird had a server that we were all part of it lasted for a couple months into a slowly died off but I played that game constantly on that server I had an entire world I'd mined out and turn it into a planet of my design had every book and every store that I went into creative mode and picked up there were so many people living on that planet that it's somewhat lagged you out and everyone went there just for quest giving and stuff is so fun anyway I hope you guys have a lovely day and good luck also you might have to delete your old save file when you update this mod it could cause problems

this game has a lot of experiences and the fact you're playing it with little or no experience in the modding game, I can't wait until you try the modding scene.

The pokeballs, hoverbikes, mechs and boats were not in the game when I played it and were probably not in the game the first time you played it either. They are newish additions. I know there's also buildable space stations now.

This game breaks my heart. So much potential, so much possibility, all used on subsystem after useless subsystem. Pets, space stations, archeology, bounty hunting, making npc housing and even the races could be removed with hardly any consequence. I'm glad that it still has that flair and wackiness that makes it fun to play with others, but so much of it just feels pointless. I wouldn't say your boyfriend was completely right when he said he didn't want to buy into the hype for something that wouldn't go anywhere, because this game could have been so much, but it just wasn't. But, I suppose, anything is fun to play with someone you like.

This sort of content is amazing! If your channel doesn't blow up in the next couple of years, then something is really wrong with KZread. If people can spend minimal effort getting fat by stuffing themselves with food and get millions of views, why wouldn't you be able to get there?

Yeah this game is fun I just wish that they would alter the jump so that you didn't need to use two different kinds of tech and a grappling hook to sometimes get over a hill after they altered the terrain generation

Might I recommend to you both "Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes" it's a Civ style game but with quests and loot. I reckon it'd make for an enjoyable date night.

would like to add with the near limitless amount of mods there is for the game you can make it whatever you want it to be
