A sniper rifle with marked shot can actually travel _through_ blocks if you've already marked the target, making for great utility. What Starbound lacks is a no-clip weapon, really..

Hey man! Great video! One weapon i love to use, is the remote grenade launcher, it almost works like your nr 1 wep, but with remote controlled grenades. Frikkin' love that one, even if its 2handed and cost a decent amount of energy to use. ^^

My top 5: 5: Magnorbs, offense and defense in one. 4: Spears with blade whirl or any variation of it, nothing shall get close to you unharmed. 3: Spears with rocket alt. good for mobility and burning your foes. 2: Kluex Staff, good for sniping your enemies while giving you a damage boost, plus you can use it as the ultimate side weapon you can use with others. 1: Swords with blink explosion alt. got swarmed? they're gonna pay! Honorable Mentions: Time Pierce, can help you in a pinch. Flame Thrower, burn'em! Weapons with splash damage. Sniper rifles with piercing shot alt. Rocket launchers with homing rocket alt.

that sounds perfect! I'll be patiently waiting. and by the way, your storage video... I use the shipping crate or whatever you wanna call it. it's not the red one but a different one. I love them I stacked them two high. I find its the easiest for me to use. of course I use smaller on3s for other stuff but I have building materials in one. crafting material in another. liquids in one. and one full of ore and the refined product of them as well as one with weapons. absolutely love using them since they store alot. sure they take up room but if you build an area just for them it's perfect. sorry for the long comment lol. got carried away. I absolutely love the game. ^_^

There's one thing i believe he forgot to mention in this video; you can modify the damage of unique weapons, for instance; /spawnitem violiumbroadsword 1 '{"level":10,"primaryAttack":{"baseDpsFactor":150}}' put that command in your game, after doing /admin, it'll make your violium broadsword do 52.5 damage per swing.

Magnorbs are amazing! I recently found them in a chest in a Glitch village and it was a while since I've watched this video, and when I saw it I was like "What's this?" Then I equipped it and now it's one of my primary weapons, and it doesn't use any energy either, also, I can fly now! I found a rocket spear!

I always particularly liked the Asuterosaberu DX. Even before the Steam Workshop community lets you upgrade the thing at an Ancient Vault, the thing is a beautifully strong sword that looks awesome and hits hard to boot. Oh yeah, and it comes with -Spacial Rend, for all those Palkia fans out there- Astral Tear, for those that like to rip holes in spacetime.

just found that alien tentacle-thrower with spheres on their ends, shoots 5 max each doing about 35 damage and does the same on the way back, or if you move fast enough you got a 5 part wrecking ball as they won´t go back in easily^^ pretty cool

I have never seen any grenade launcher with proximity mines.. Those seem really handy, I'll have to look out for one.

My 5 favorites are the phase saber the ex machina then the next two are from shell guard mod which are the drone caller and the disposable tank caller and my favorite weapon is, this one is from a mech mod, the Rho mech.

If we're talking mods, then NOTHING beats the Monado Delta. Nothing. A beautiful recreation of an already-awesome replica Monado from Xenoblade, it also comes with a stupidly powerful Monado Buster as its alt fire (think Giant Sword but it's on steroids) and a custom combo that tears through all, be it man, machine or unspeakable abhorrent alien horror.

Really important things to show off, the energy cost, its something that comes in handy when choosing a weapon. Not sure you can fly around for a full 10 seconds with those spears.

Just look for a spear with a rocket spear ability, doesn't need to be a manaticon forcearm specifically

Only problem with firestorm's fury is that you can't do the same combo attack with it that literally every other sword can do.

certain things are not save, e.g. wired stuff, I had to re-wire some of me light sensors

The weapon I prefer after beating that boss....with a Solus katana thing that fire spikes........yeaaah I prefer the vintage scoped rifle thingy that I use along with the katana that dropped from the Hylotl boss thing.

From the wiki:Solus Katana is a Tier 4 unique broadsword dropped by the boss Asra Nox. It has a 10% chance to drop from the boss when defeated. Note that this weapon only drops from Asra Nox in the Grand Pagoda Library - she does not drop it when defeated during The Ruin encounter. Therefore its a rare drop from Asra Nox.

I agree with no 1,cuz you dont have to aim precisely and the explosion damage splash well

no way, violium does only little less damage but it is considerably more useful with the special jump thing and it's also faster and allows more combos. But if you want a high damage sword look for upgraded hokucide.

I have a broadsword called Callox Impectedge, it's DPS is 40.1, and the stat is 34.8 of speed rate of 1.2. Better than Protectorate and Violium. It's uncommon with tier 6

Ah the one handed grenade launcher. I love it one of my favorite combos is that and a grappling hook it's so good for caves and it's so fun to just hang of a roof and bombard everything.

Medical Station. It requires some Living Roots which can be a pain to farm, and Synthetic Material that's made of coal and poison, which are very easy to find.

Tch, I have a much better list than that: 5. Evil Eye: This weapon would probably be my weapon of choice when fighting inside confined areas, as the eyeballs easily ricochet off of walls, and roll along floors. I rarely seem to have much of a use for its Evil Eye secondary ability though, which causes it to lock onto enemies and automatically attack them while they remain within the user's line of sight. 4. High damage-per-shot sniper rifle with Piercing Shot: This thing excels at killing off enemies that are lined up perfectly, which is likely to happen in dungeons and missions. To speed up the rate-of-fire, I alternate between using primary and secondary fire. 3. High damage-per-shot spear with Rocket Spear: Yes, I'll admit that it's useful being able to fly, but I personally like this weapon more for how it's essentially a spear with a flamethrower (or ice, lightning, or acid thrower) mounted on it, making it quite the effective mid-to-short-range crowd-control weapon. 2. Staff with Elemental Orb + Healing Zone: Before I was introduced to this item, I was a fan of Rocket Launchers with the Guided Rocket special ability, which could allow me to steer projectiles around cover. With this staff, although my projectiles travel much slower, I have far more control over them. Meanwhile, the Healing Zone secondary ability allows me to heal, even without bandages. 1. Staff with Elemental Portal + Healing Zone: Elemental Portal summons a swarm of homing elemental projectiles to bombard enemies from any range, from far away to up close. Like with most staves and wands, the portal can be created from behind cover. I wouldn't recommend using this in confined spaces, but I find it to be quite devastating against mooks and bosses alike.

Now the Adaptable Crossbow is VERY good, considering elemental counters and its damage after an upgrade, it's one of the main weapons I use.

Firestorm fury is kinda stupid seeing how rocket spears do the same thing

Yes but you are guaranteed to get Firestorm if you do the side quest. Finding a rocket spear is completely random. Also rocket spears push you back Firestorm does not. And last but no least Firestorm gets a rather large damage boost when you upgrade it.

+jake rose yea I don't like those ones I like the proximity ones that explode when they get close to a mob. That way you can fire near them and kill them. You should try them you may like them. But then again I'm big fan of ranged. But I know lots of people that prefer melee. Which is cool. :)

I'll have to disagree with the weapons mentioned in this video. 5. Assault Rifles are mostly underpowered. They consume way too much energy for the firepower that they offer. 4. Magnorbs are one of the most disappointing weapons in game. They offer rather small damage and the shield ability is very energy consuming. 3. Fire rate of 1, no combo, flamethrower ability takes alot of your energy in exchange for something that ACTUAL flamethrower can do better. Sword isn't bad, but it's not good neither. 2. Top 5 "Weapons" Rocket spears are pretty bad as a weapon and amazing transport tool. 1. Grenade launchers are great but i would not place them as best weapon. Rather slow when used in 1 hand and damage is questionable. I like to re-watch your videos from time to time and i enjoy your content. Keep it up.
