Starbond's gap filler CA glues are a quick and easy alternative to epoxy for filling small voids and cracks in boards. Using the accelerator spray will get the whole process done in just 5-10 minutes, including sanding.

Very clear articulation and with clear shots of your work. Deserves more views.
good vid, big fan of starbond, been using it about a year and use it all the time
If you store it in the refrigerator. How long do you need to let it sit out before you could use it?
Great video. Do you think the glue can be applied to a vertical surface? I have a think crack on the door panel that I'd like to repair. Not sure if I need to take the door down or can leave it on the frame. Thanks.

The thick formula is pretty viscous. If you used that in thin layers along with the accelerator, I think you could make it work on a vertical surface. I haven't tried so myself though.
Great video have ? Is it food safe can it be used on cutting board thx

I don't think it's food safe, but I'd contact the manufacturer if you want to be sure.
Без ускорителя можно работать ?
I am trying to use black on ask wooden bowls. However, the black seems to go into the course grain and can not be sanded out. I used the lacquer trick of spaying on lacquer they using the black. It did not work out well,

I haven't run into that issue myself, but I've only used the black CA glue on walnut.
Great review. How would you suggest filing in a large crack in a bowl (top to bottom)?

It's a wood bowl, right? I'd use blue painter's tape on either side of the crack to provide a support, then use thick CA glue to gradually fill it up.

@@DoresoomReviews Yes, it's a bowl. Is there a brand of CA glue you recommend? Thanks.

I really like Starbond, they have a great shelf life and good performance. I am an affiliate for them, just for full disclosure.
I’ve been using epoxy for my inlays but I’m wondering if CA glue would be more cost effective?

It's much faster than epoxy, but I would bet epoxy is cheaper for anything requiring significant volume.
Hi! Please could you advise the exact name of the colour powder you use? Trying to find it online - thanks

There's a link in the video description for the powder I used.
Do these work better than bicarbonate of soda flooded with thin CA glue?

I've never used that method, but these work really well for matching color. Clear works well, and they have brown or dark brown tinted versions for darker woods.
Hi, why could you not use epoxy to fill the knot that flew off your walnut board?

I could have, but this stuff sets a lot faster. I also wanted to test it's ability to fill larger voids.

@@DoresoomReviews Thanks.
Just talked my wife into $40 worth of superglue and superglue accessories...
On a side note Safety tip do not use spray indoors without a vent to outside. You do not want to smell the accelerator spray at all as it could cause cancer in large quantities.
Epoxy > this. Every single time.

Not if you want it done and don't have time to let the epoxy cure.
