That is a really great looking figure minus the bucket. Your video really shows how good the saber looks. The pose you did with the helmet on the pet was classic meme material.

Thanks man! Yeah I was having a good laugh with those helmet poses haha. I saw Audes Workshop is selling a 3D printed replacement helmet on Ebay, and I am likely going to pick that up and try my best to paint it. Also, thank the Force that Hasbro heard the backlash and will be doing a swappable helmet for the Rebels version of Sabine on the Haslab card back ✨🤘😎🤘✨

That helmet makes her look like a funko pop. I do agree that we need Baylan and Shin desperately as well, Ahsoka needs some one to fight in my display.

Love this Sabine, and completely agree we need Shin and Baylan ASAP in TVC. First wave of bad guys is the HK droid and Morgan Elsbeth with no accessories.😴

Heck yeah, Baylan and Shin are a MUST. I definitely wanted Morgan in TVC, due to her Mando Season 2 appearance. Would have been cool to include her cloak and spear. The HK is a great army builder with some potential, but heavy hitters like Baylan and Shin should be the first wave of bad guys and main offerings. ✨🤘😎🤘✨

Hasbro could've included a swappable helmet as well as the stand alone helmet, since it's a deluxe figure and the price is way too high.

Thanks so much for the support, and you're absolutely welcome!! I definitely thought it would be a good idea to just show how much better the swappable Night Owl helmet looked on this figure. With that being said, Hasbro has mentioned that they will be doing swappable heads moving forward. I am not sure if they only meant for the future Sabines or ALL helmet figures. But it's a move in the right direction ✨👌😃✌️✨

​​⁠Your comparison showed a major difference indeed. I’m still like WOW, WTH?!! It’s like a Hot Toys Sized helm on a TVC body..Gheesh HasBRO! The helmet was the width of her chest plate and shoulders. Don’t they know it’s adults buying these figures. All they have to do is shrink the size. The Princess Leia Boushh figure was done right in both Black series and TVC.

I'll probably re paint a koska or Bo katan helmet for this one....if I can steady my hand enough lol. I might try cricutting some tiny masks and airbrush it.... it'll either work....or it won't, worth a try though. Nice review 👍🏻

Thanks for the review! I mean Sabine looks great and doesn't wear her helmet too often in the show. But even though the details on the helmet look nice, your review helped me decide to not buy it. Hopefully Hasbro will release another version with swapable helmet and head down the road like they did for Bo Katan.

I love your videos! Do you think you will be doing a posing video on this Sabine fig? Would appreciate it I'm looking for ways to display it since the helmet is a bit iffy and that personally takes away a lot of the Mandalorian display poses for me! Keep up the great work

Thank you so much, this is the way! I am planning on it! I was actually set to film it this past weekend but this review kind of took that slot. So definitely be on the look out for that soon. I also ended up finding a replacement helmet on Ebay from Audes Workshop. I painted it up (which was challenging) and it looks great. I am going to share that in a figure upgrade video as well. ✨✌️😎✌️✨

the paint sprayer is same as black series figure too i believe, and look like same cat as ghost kit, this is close to last scene in rebels, which some say was rettconned, but think its 2 different times, think ppl wrong myself, and callin it now, she will use paint gun in last episode

💯 agree with you, swapable heads are the way to go. My only other gripe with Star Wars figures, me namely the females, is their small statue. However, she does look great 👍🏾

Swappable is the way!! I totally agree 100% it's odd how small some of their female figures have been. I didn't really notice it until my partner pointed that out one day. Fortunately Sabine looks great, and I think they have done a much better job with this figure. ✨🤘😁🤘✨

Such a beautiful figure. Point of trivia; her Mandalorian arm bracers with the fine gold detail are the same ones given to her by Fenn Rau in Rebels.

On my “TheNotSoVintageNerd” account (now working on a double review), I was the first to post a “video report” with a in-hand review. Yes. This helmet is comically large. I would make an exception for Vader since… it is Vader. I do wish to point out the details on the bag: there’s a symbol on it and it is indeed the Rebels’ Phoenix. The TBS release doesn’t the paint spraytool or the bag, and some of the decos are not accurate to the source material. Even if it’s not gonna be accurate to the timeline, I can’t wait to have her pose holding Pre Vizsla’s Darksaber. Also I realise that I’ll have too many figures to add in the upcoming months: - Grand Inquisitor - Ahsoka (2), forced to buy a new one because my Mando version has a missing stripe of painting on one of the shin guards. Next wave is gonna be HUGE!!! - Pre Vizsla - Darth Revan (2) - Chopper - Hera (can’t have Chopper without “mom”) - Krennic (Skipping R5-D4) Yes, I did secure for the Obi-Wan vs. Vader but I may cancel it. And then Dooku (2 or 3), Tantive IV Leia (2), R2 if all new, a couple Stormtroopers (3 or 4), ANH Vader (2).

Yeah, definitely an oversized helmet, but I don't think Vader or anyone should be subjected to such a helmet. Definitely excited for the next wave, Pre Vizsla is a long time coming 🙌✨✨🙌

pretty sure they made her change the saber a bit- becuz if you look at ezra saber, looks too much like obi/luke hilt, which works good for me, becuz the custom ezra made, had a easy saber fix lol

i agree, all helmets should be the swappalbe units ALLLLLL OF THEM, clones, jedi, mando's, any and all, and another really REALLY REALLY annoying thing- if THEY HAVE A LIGHT SABER should ALWAYS ALWAYS, have hilt,

This really isn't a stupid deluxe pack figure that's my gripe, I got the Eweb stormtrooper and maybe Paz Vizsla, but we've had TVC figures with way more accessories.

Yeah it's odd when the tooling and paint applications push some of these characters to the "deluxe" price point. I will always take more world building accessories and diorama pieces, and given all the space in these boxes, they should add a couple more. ✨👌😎✌️✨

I really want to get this figure, but the helmet is what pulls me out. To think Hasbro perfected the Mandolorian figures in the past (besides the ones with swappable heads, there are the two Boba Fetts from earlier this year that did this thing WAAAAAAAAY better). Part of me wonders if Hasbro will fix this with another release with a swappable head?

i checked, and not quite as big as the BS sabine, and not the basic fig helmet which means THEY MADE THIS HELMET NEW, holy, its like as big as the ghost i have, and razor crest (non tvc) could be custom mando shaped escape pod for the falcon@@ToysAreTheWay

It does look like a good figure so it's unfortunate that one accessory sticks out like it does. Most people don't really care for when an actor has their helmet or mask off in something because it feels like an excuse for actor facetime but in this case I bet some people were grateful she didn't wear it a lot so they don't have to take many photos with it but it still sucks it isn't better. Even Shin knew to knock it off right away during their fight scene. So far things are building out for Ahsoka faster than they are for Mando Season 3 but it won't be complete really without Baylan and Shin. The late Ray Stevenson has been wonderful as Baylan and he deserves the best figure possible with an accurate lightsabre colour and Shin deserves a head sculpt that doesn't look like Christina Ricci and more resembles Ivanna Sakhno. Hopefully they'll come out sooner rather than later. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next video.

I'm pretty stoked for once that she hasn't worn that helmet too much haha. Definitely agree they have actually done a much better job at getting a 375 line built out for the Ahsoka show, but I also think they should have prioritized their releases/announcements differently. Fans are grateful for Morgan and Huyang, but are more interested in hearing that we are getting main villains like Baylan and Shin. 🤘😁🤘

well if you have the old sabine figure u can just use that bucket on the figure. cause that with the reeves bucket that look hella weird to me like her head is suuuper tiny, so compared to that id rather have the bigger bucket or like i said use the older one for this figure

Agreed! The paint apps are actually rather impressive, it's just scaled poorly. I got a replacement on the way that I will have to paint, so we will see how that turns out! ✨✌️😎✌️✨

Hasbro has been schizophrenic for years. They do great things and just when you think they have turned the corner, they put out a helmet like that. They are all not on the same page over there.

Yeah I agree, they definitely have a few fumbles here and there. I am curious as to how often the team takes a moment to reality check design, sculpting, and other steps in the creative process? I know it's a lot to handle and probably a fast paced environment, but some of these issues seem like they could have been avoided. ✌️😎✌️

Yeah, I know that Sabine isn't top pick for some fans, but so far I've had no issues with her in live action. I do think her character development was great in Rebels, and I'm sure she will continue to grow in live action. ✨✌️😎✌️
