It was obviously never gonna be in ROTJ packaging, but I suppose subconsciously I was imagining it coming in it! 😂😂 (during this 40th anniversary year) So I admit, I sound kinda daft sounding so surprised to see the TBOBF logo! 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️🙃

It's basically a MUST for any collector as you can display your whole array of Star Wars species around either Jabba or Bib.... so good!

We've been waiting 40 years for this playset. Get Jabba and friends on there asap!

While I complain and carry on about some of the vehicle releases; this play set is an amazing piece of work. Everything about it is incredible.

Absolutely amazing diorama! A must have if you have the space.

I wish it had a small bit of floor under the throne that shows the cage grill to the rancor pit. Very cool set I will be using mine as a Jabba throne room.

That looks like a great set. Congrats on being one of the first people to review it at least from what I'm seeing. So much bang for your buck there so something like this being expensive I can understand. No doubt toy photographers are going to have a lot of fun with this. It's one of those items you can do anything with really it doesn't have to be scene specific and stuff like that are my favourite things to watch and look out for because it's the kind of thing I did in my youth creating stories from my imagination. Obviously it's fun to recreate the moments from films and shows but some of the earliest videos I saw from you were your Barge videos where you created your own pre-Return of the Jedi set up and what things looked like in the heyday for Jabba before things were brought to an end. While Empire is probably the best film objectively I always kind of go back and forth on what my favourite is and ROTJ often keeps coming back to being my favourite possibly. Maybe it's because of Jabba and his entourage and even though ANH had the Cantina this was like that times a lot and really ignited my love of background characters and their stories and how everyone has a story to tell in the larger Star Wars saga and again inspired my imagination along with the stop motions I watched that were created from a similar interest. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next video.

I would have a hard time choosing the scenario do. So many. Great set even with fat fortuna.

Great video review! I’ve just gotten mine yet I’m still excited looking at other people’s videos of it too 😂 it’s such a stunning piece. My only criticism is the goblets not staying in the holes too well. My girlfriend came up with a great idea for keeping them in place as she’s used to designing dolls houses and had this special wax.There’s a real quick video of it on our channel. It works great with those shot glasses too.

Great review Nick have fun setting it all up with your figs, Mine arrived today and I am very impressed.. not just with the playset but with the packaging too. Hasbro went all out this time. I have mine set up with Jabba and I have combined it with the previous playset with Han in carbonite and all the band members it makes for an impressive display.. Had to pre order the new Jabba set with the carded 8-D8 and Crumb.

Here's a semi-controversial view... I'm currently sitting in a darkened room somewhat overcome by buyers remorse! This thing is tiny. I was so excited rummaging around in the beautiful, large packaging, making sure my Fat Bib was present and decent. Then I actually opened the boxes and found out it was more like Jabba's f××king cloakroom rather than his Palace. I did see the measurements earlier in the week on the Pulse video, but it still came as a serious shock seeing how small it really is. I put a picture on IG with a Lego Boba in it, 3.75 figures and stupidly, 6 inch figures and it best scales to bloody Legos!! 😢😢 In my mind, i was somehow going to use it as a really posh display stand for all of my '83 kenner Jabba denziens and goons. With the accessories in place and a 3.75 Jabba, I doubt there's room for more than 3 or 4 figures. It is a nice "thing" and I haven't opened the accessories yet, but this is ridiculously overpriced. It needs to be half the money, or preferably twice the size.... I am seriously underwhelmed by it. 😢

To be honest, in the Film Jabba’s palace looks small, a short walk from one wall to the other side. You could probably add to this with a large tan shelf, to create more space.

@@gabesstarwarscollection Thank you! I've been messing around with a large tumbled travertine tile as a base plate, which is a similar colour and at least allows figures to stand in front of it.

The price is way higher than l expected for three hundred a skull l would expect to receive the hole Palace inside and out with ten carded figures what a rippoff

Great video Nick. It is meant to be released here in NZ in October, so we have a bit longer too wait! This is a great piece and I am excited to get it - looks a bit odd that the dias is so much darker than the rest. I note however that the Jabba dias appears to be to the same colour / shade - looks like Hasbro know what most people are going to use this for!!! 😄😀. Keep up the good work - I really enjoy your channel! 😀😀😀

Hey Nick, I got mine today as well have a we closer look at the Bib card back I noticed yours when I watched this video it has a ring of like doubled glue around the bubble (not good) Bossk has the same issue to , as do I , but can't wait to set up a ROTJ scene with the set itself

It's a shame that this does not fit in a detolf. I really think Hasbro should take that into consideration. This set is a few inches too wide and the Endor Bunker was a mere inch too wide to comfortably sit on a detolf shelf. Okay done moaning, this set looks terrific. A bit too pricey perhaps, but it is really nice and detailed. Would have been nice if the barbecue had a light powered by some button cell batteries would have been really neat. About the tray with the glasses and the jar, perhaps heating the tray with a hair dryer will help getting them to stick in?

Awesome stuff OOK! Thanks for the early video! Looks like the Bib cardbacks are coming with an unusual press ring around the bubble, it was Tim’s and see it on yours also. Maybe not a big deal but just odd. Hopefully every single one produced doesn’t have that. A lot of carded collectors probably won’t be very happy.

Massively over-priced for what it is.

Its my first view of it..its phenomenal..how deep is the base of it (20 inches?)..once you put it together the shadows played out on the floor beautifully...ive pre ordered the new Jabba..i might actually get this...im still keeping Ians Throne and spit that he made me..wow im more impressed with this than i thought i would be..cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻
