There's also this picture and the scenery in Battlefront 2 Kamino map. It's always imposing if you see an object so big it can barely hide in clouds or is literally so big the smoke has to slide off it. Maybe because we're used to seeing only airplace and jets which are barely dots in the sky. 10 years later it’s still true.

I remember seeing this when it first came out and all of my friend's were like "wow, you can do that with the Force?!?", we were amazed.

*The Force Unleashed:* The path to either give-in to the dark side, or, be truly one with the force. The struggle of the main character was so surreal from beginning to end. His sacrifice is incredible. This is amongst the best stories of Star Wars IMO.

God, i just played through the level where you bring down a star destroyer for the first time and its "yeah this is gonna be the coolest part of the game" 2 deaths later, "god this is the most annoying and frustrating part of the game." fucking tie fighters.

I think A cutscene would have been the wiser choice. Or no TIE's and Starkiller could simply bring the SD down and the Players Job could be to bring it down to a destinated point.

This is one of the best, if not the best, Star Wars game I have eva played.

KOTOR 1 and 2 mop the floor with Force Unleashed (which isn't to say FU isn't great, its just not GOTY like KOTOR 1). Very different gameplay style, sure, but they both dominate in terms of story, complexity, and expanding the Star Wars universe. As a specifically _Star Wars_ game, there's just no contest.

Adam Warling They say that if Anakin hadn't been put in his suit of armor, he would have become much more powerful than Palpatine, or anyone else for that matter, since he is the Chosen One. Not to discredit Starkiller, but I I'd like to see him hold his own against an Anakin whose potential was fully realized.

Well, actually, Starkiller only had the potential to become as powerful as Palpatine, Anakin had the potential to be twice as powerful as Palpatine. Anakin could've been pulling off feats like this all the time if he'd actually taken the time to master his abilities rather than just rely on his raw power.

I remember myself at 9 years old, finding this trailer just few days after it was uploaded. I had to let the video buffer in small increments, and once the whole video was done buffering I'd rewatch it endlessly dreaming of the game release. Then I got the game on PS2 and was super disappointed for not knowing that the game had different versions depending on consoles. I played the game a few years ago on my PC with a controller, and I must say it was satisfying finally being able to play the game as I had dreamt it to be.

Am I the only one who feels like the force was rarely used in the movies? And never saw it's true power? I kinda want more Force powers and for them to be a bit stronger than what we got in the movies. Not too Over powered unless it's someone whos Strong in the force like Yoda and SIdious. In the movies they made it look like Yoda struggled to lift the X wing out of the swamp. Also what good is the force if they barley use it? I hope in the new movies they use the force more often and make it a bit more stronger than just lightning and only lifting stuff the size of a x wing. But thats just my opinion. I like force powers.

Austin Clark It also feelt kinda hard for them. While in every other medium it seems so much easier. I mean Mace Windu destroyed a whole super battle droid army with its use, in the animated series. Yeah I agree in the new cgi series and the movies the use of the force never reached its full potential.

I wish they ever read the extended universe and what people do with force. I wish they knew celestials. I wish they knew vitiate and how he devoured planets. This was the greatest Star Wars game I’ve ever played, it had a phenomenal story that struck me more than anything else. I remember playing it on my Xbox 360, the first few hours were one of the best gaming experiences.

This has always been, by far, one of the most badass things ever shown in Star Wars. I’d love to see this opening scene remastered with modern graphic.

best star wars teaser in 20 years

I'm not a big Star Wars fan, but this is one of my most favorite teaser trailers for a game. It was perfect how it was executed - ship going down for God knows what reason and you start guessing what's happening on board when... camera zooms out and reveals ONE MAN BRINGING IT DOWN WITH THE FORCE and stopping it 10 feet in front of him... Then Darth Vader's voice - "you have done well, my apprentice". Chills down my spine. Played both, 1 and 2, and though I'm not a big fan of the main Star Wars canon (Anakin/Luke Skywalker stories), I LOVE this story. Needs to be a movie.

@Waxy Cannot be canon as Bail Organa were already sponsoring rebel cells in Rebels ( and by the looks of it has been doing so for at least a few years) whereas in TFU he was merely an annoying senator who wasn't afraid to speak out against the Emperor but also wasn't ,by his own admission, ready to go into open rebellion against the Emperor. That being said they could tweak the TFU timeline to where it does fit canonically with Rebels and the rest of the canon.

Was The Force Unleashed ever even canon in the Expanded Universe? Either way, EU was never official Star Wars canon, and remains so according to the LucasFilm Story Group decision (aka "EU becomes non-canon", as it always was).

It’s almost 2021 now and I’ll turn 18 in March. I remember playing this game on my PS2 when it first came out, being so proud that I completed the game in 3 days 😂 I’ve just purchased it on Steam and completed it in 9 hours

Star Wars The Force Unleashed is a great Star Wars game it takes place after Episode III Revenge of the Sith and right before Episode IV A New Hope

@MAST3RCHIEF 98 played on the wii too back in the day. Graphics pretty mich sucked in comparison but this was one of the games where Motion controls could really shine. It was so satisfying to pick someone up und be able to choke them with a Twist of the wrist and stuff

Christopher Jorge Force Unleashed is cool

Force lightning seems to work well on him. After hitting him with it he is stunned for a few seconds. This is a good chance to pick him up throw him or to use force push. For what ever reason attacking him with your saber when he is stunned seems to be a bad idea because he always counters after recovering from the stun.

Damn, I remember watching this back then. Seeing that Star Destroyer get pulled to the ground for the first time was freaking epic!

I have always played on apprentice when I get bored and want to kill some guys, but with warrior when I want to really play, and with lord when I want a challenge, I've never play with master tho
