i love galens voice actor he sounds truly angry and broken at points instead of being badass and stoic 24/7 it gives him a lot more depth and makes him feel more human and relatable which is impressive seeing how he can throw star destroyers onto planets

I love Darth Vader’s voice in this game. It just shows how threatening he really is. Anakin Skywalker would not sound this intimidating. We miss you Vader/Anakin.

No offense but he’s given the same amount of character development as Rey and given no real reason why he’s so OP. Personally that’s what keeps Starkiller and Rey from being such cool characters. Also given the fact that Starkiller’s real name is never stated in this game (Galen Marek) and nothing is given explanation as to what happens in the next game especially. Don’t get me wrong, I loved this game as a kid, but looking at it now it’s not really written well

@@aidanproko note that children with the force have varying level in the force, not every child has the exact same, and vader sense that the boy is strong, there really no need for a backstory why he is strong, and also take into account that he was trained by Darth Vader thus amplifying his skill in the force to more extreme measures, unlike that trash Rey, he trained with vader for tear allowing him to become strong, he developed his own force abilities which output strong offensive capabilities. Rey had bullshit training any just got strong randomly, she beat a kylo without any proper training. Starkiller has ok development but with flaw, Rey on the other hand can never be as cool or as good of a character he is. Also comics for missing story part

It's that if you let anger rule your important actions, it will be your undoing. Jedi's are about self-control, and it's important to note that much like the Sith, the Jedi only see a certain point of view. The Jedi have a dogmatic stance on the force which Luke at the end of "Return of the Jedi" negates and manages to evolve their philosophy to a new level, as his angry attack against Vader was used because of his love for his friends. His emotions, rather than holding him back, gave him a much larger appreciation of life.

For STAR WARS week we decided to redo "The Force Unleashed" on PC on ultra settings. We originally did it on the Xbox 360. We have 2 versions, which are largely the same. The only differences in the versions is that the "Dark Side Edition" has the dark side ending as well as the 2 DLC's that add on to the dark side ending. Both version have the Jedi Temple DLC which is an extra mission that was in the Wii Edition of the game. They're not meant to be two different editions that have completely different stories, but just as a convenience for you to chose how you want to watch the end of the story play out. Dark Side Edition will be up tomorrow morning!

Some similarities between Rogue One and TFU seem more than coincidental. In both stories there is a blind Force user, and an Imperial pilot who joined the Rebels. This is obviously early years and the Galactic Empire so I kind a wish they still had some of the old clone trooper weapons around mix again with the Imperial armaments basically means they were being phased out towards the end with more material like looks like in the PS2 version you see controversial but also a mix of imperial era weaponry like the at-at Final version

Well, I don't know how much canon was observed in these games, since my EU (Legends) knowledge is mostly from the books set after ROTJ, but in the the Thrawn Trilogy it was revealed that the clone troopers were unstable due to the accelerated growth process. Basically the faster they are grown, the shorter the half-life on their metabolism and sanity. Also, I remember reading somewhere that there was some disease that was highly lethal that plagued the clones. Either way most clones ended up going completely insane within 5 to 10 years, and with no galactic war to keep the turnover rate high, the Emperor had them all destroyed before they took the Empire with them over the edge of insanity. This is my guess anyway, as to the lack of clone troopers. It was also implied in the trilogy that the top commanders of the Republic Fleet, 99% of which became the officers of the Imperial Fleet, had a very distinct lack of trust of clones, further reinforced after Order 66. Most of the elite units were already being replaced with "normal" humans. I know you commented 6 months ago, but hopefully this helps. I'm not for sure, but it's my best guess, since this game came out well before The Force Awakens turned the Extended Universe and the masterpiece trilogy that Timothy Zahn wrote into wishful thinking.

I feel like the Jedi Temple mission comes after the 2nd Kashyyyk mission. There’s a vision of Kento there, and that’s the first time Galen has seen his father in a years. In the beginning of the Jedi Temple mission, Galen even mentions trying to find out more about his father, since he just saw him at Kashyyyk.

Didn't they have the rights to Princess Leia's likeness, or was that the best they could do? 'Cause she looks nothing like the "real" Leia Organa.

This is honestly an incredible concept. The Empires (specifically the Emperors) fear of losing power led to the plan of "creating" a rebel alliance only to destroy them immediately. It not only wipes out the enemies of the empire, but sets an example of fear in the eyes of anyone who would considering rebelling. But in the act of attempting to hold onto their power, they only create the very thing that overthrows them. Their fear of losing power was exactly what the galaxy needed to know that theEmpire isn't unbeatable, all because their fear showed that they could be beaten

I wish there was a remake of this game, like a remake that's part of the canon and it should take place before Star Wars Rebels.

The story was so good.

Jim Huffman maybe he hasn’t, I doubt Vader would have given him much of a break from his training, or maybe he was just expecting to fly the ship himself

@Devin Berry must be sad to never be able to wack off for once your whole life, especially when darth vader knows what your thinking

I like how Vader just discarded the Competence of the Empire by saving Starkiller XD

Still love this game from Xbox 360 to pc

The way he says “A son is interesting” didn’t he know Padme was pregnant and since he thinks he killed her it means he thinks he killed her kids as well. The way he says it the kind of surprise in his voice. Like he feels bad that he can never have that

If it wasn't for the subtitles this would be perfect! You even included the Jedi Temple bits.

Imagine they based the new trilogy on completely original characters and the main villain was Maris Brood... Such a missed opportunity.

Nah it would be better to see new characters.

Each time darth sidious says : "kill him", I always ask myself : "why I don't kill you instead?" it's never been an option.

This makes me wanna cry

to how old and bad this game looks, i'm still surprised by how high quality and good it is, especially with the detail and the voice acting

This was like the only Star Wars game that mattered to me.

Man this is one of the greatest games star wars has made they really need to make galen marek cannon again in some way

When he sees Juno for first time. He acts a bit funny.

Shouldn't you have put the Jedi temple mission after kasheyk because that's when he finds out about his father

Kinda dissapointed that they didn't make a 3rd one or release news on it at all. Thanks for this GLP!

agreed, the second one just felt kinda....pointless. Like there was no real plan for the storyline, it was just made to make a quick buck off of SW fans.

Tbh it would of been smarter to take him to become an inquisitor instead of an apprentice. He would've appeared less suspicious to Palpatine even though he approved Vader taking Starkiller as a apprentice.

Sam witwer does such a good job.
