I was not expecting to see Rukh either 😂 that was an unexpected surprise. Yeah I was also a bit slow on recognizing Palleon as well I actually didn't know it was him until Thrawn at the end name dropped him and I was like "Ooohhh!!! my bad" And god I love how they Animated Morgan's fighting style with the Beskar spear in Animation that was pretty Badass, her live action fighting is good but here they can really ramp it up and make it so much flashier. And yeah I noticed the Lars features in Thrawn's face as well making it more as you said more balanced for his overall designs throughout the saga. I do find it funny though that they didn't try to do the same with the Grand Inquisitor's design in this show, they didn't try to make his head slightly fatter in this to try and mix his rebels design and live action design, they just ignore Rupert's Gi look altogether 😂

Loved seeing Thrawn back in animation, not to mention TCW style animation. Thrawn! Thrawn! Thrawn!

If you read the Canon Thrawn Trilogy, this episode takes place shortly after Thrawn becomes Admiral which runs on par with Season 1 of Rebels. Thrawn didn’t join the empire until 9BBY. So there must be a mistake with them using Venators unless those are the last 4 Venators left in the Empire.

Id consider that those Venators are the last which are considered throw aways at that point and given to Thrawn cause yknow The Empire has quite a human dominated infrastructure, more like xenophobia

I would've preferred to see Eli instead of Palleon, but then I realized this might be right after the Battle of Baton where he sent Eli off to be with his people and before he was promoted to Grand Admiral in the epilogue.

Both stories were pretty impressive, they were shorts so of course they didn't have time to cram in everything the fans wanted, but pound for pound I was pleased with Morgans episodes and Barriss Offee.

A fairly good start! You're absolutely right! The visuals are stunning! And the choreography is fantastic! Yeah, I'm not too keen either on who these other Nightsisters are? Or if they are Nightsisters. Still, an interesting backstory to a young Morgan Elsbeth. Funny thing, here in Canada, we still didn't get the episode, even after midnight. I was already exhausted, and decided to sleep and then woke up to find that the episode was ready, and so I was able to watch your reaction to it afterward. 🤩 Onto the next episode!

Thrawn actually doesn't have the 7th fleet yet, he is given command over it along with his promotion to Grand Admiral. The ships you see are part of the 96th Task force.

This breaks the Thrawn book timeline. Pelleon wouldn’t show up until after his Grand Admiral status.

Am i tripping or pattern of rank in Thrawn uniform is just bkue dots ? Because if i remember correctly (i even rember that rank from comics) admiral rank had also red dots upper than blue. Was that mistake or they just hard to see thanks to darkness in that scene ?

Fleet Admiral is Red on top of Blue, the standard Admiral is just blue.
