Rebels in particular is pretty egregious in how trivial it makes the empire seem. I don’t remember a single time they felt like an intimidating, galaxy spanning threat in that show.

I feel like one of the core messages of the show is, that even the smallest rebel-faction can take on the largest armies of the empire, if they believe in hope. I don't remember much from the show, but I think they had a few threatening moments in Season 4.

andor is truly a model for the number of imps that actually need to die in a show. the movies are movies for a reason, the kill count in them should be large, and the Mandalorian and Obi Wan (especially obi wan) had no good reason to go overboard

@@ultimawolflycan7298 I dunno, the number of stormtroopers is still exorbitant given how fanatical Gideon's sect is, because the vast majority of the Imperial Remnant was perfectly respectable. If they confirm that those men weren't actually stormtroopers and were instead imp fanatics dressed in that gear it would make more sense.

With the Imperial Unity Parade at 1:01:35, I think I only counted 256 deaths in the original issue, so I'm interested, why it's 315 deaths here.

The Unity parade most likely had more troops then in the actual parade then shown in the comic frame, with the entire imperial force being wiped out, thus the higher amount of deaths counted.

The reason why so many troops died is mostly plot armor

They're not directly aligned with the Empire, thus not counting in the Imperial death count. The only Civilian police that are part of the empire we counted were the Coruscant police. Also it'll mean even more icons on the screen, making the viewing experience more cluttered.

Just how incompetent do you have to be to have this many troopers and people in your empire and still lose to a group of 20 or so people?

i got an existential point ... one big flaw in those series and movies and games ,it's really a shame that it's always the stormtroopers who got butchered pathetically in star wars. why we do barely see the regular imperial troopers in action? the troopers are supposed to be elite soldiers, when they appears in empire sensible places like the death stars , or the archives of scarif , when they follow darth vader and another important officer, okay it make sense but they're everywhere , it's annoying they are a joke now, i really wished they appeared less often on screen

Thats unfortunately what happens when you become a popular face of a property. Also its easy to get away with doing brutality like what boba did to that one squad of troopers because in lew of a mess of brain and skull bits you can just shatter the helmets. Then again Im not sure why they couldnt just give the regular imp troops a face covering like the mud troopers.

15:50, the shuttle doesn't blow up so it could have just been damaged, deaths there would just be speculation.

Just for fun-head canon I personally would've put the Uprising on Narkina 5 and the Revolution on the Rix Road in 4 BBY, but after the Ghost-Crew met Rex and the other clones. All the Doctor Aphra-comics I would've put at 1 ABY and the new Han Solo-comic after Rebels Season 4.

Something you might have missed is that every Imperial ship had an ISB officer on board, you could've counted them as regular officers tho so not sure

@@custodeseuropeae actually, I read it a few minutes ago to see if it was true or not and it did certainly say that in the organisation part of the ISB page. Every ‘fleet’(ship as you said) did have an ISB Officer or High Ranking was stationed in that specific fleet. but in that case since there’s about nearly over 20 or so Ranks that can be obtained in the ISB, we don’t know their ranks so it’s better off leaving in either Officers or Personal Naval Crew.

The Battle of Jakku had Space, Aerial and Ground Battles, nobody would of survived if they did escape. They checked every escape pod and killed any imperials in them as mentioned in Aftermath Series and Alphabet Squadron: Victory’s Price.

@@tk-6967 The armor doesn't absorb energy in canon. That was a Legends thing that came into effect after a number of Legends books claimed Stormtroopers were the super elite and special forces of the Empire. People then asked why they were dying by the buttloads in the movies, and the energy absorbing thing was brought up. Regardless of what you feel about that, Ezra is using a DL-44 Heavy Blaster pistol, the same one Han Solo uses, which definitely kills the Stormtroopers.

Mandalorian Death count won't come out until after Mandalorian Season 3 A lot of icons also need to be made for Rebel Alliance/New Republic and Resistance so it won't come out until 2023 as well. The next video will most likely come out next week which is Transformers Prime. Furthermore, we still need to research all the Higb Republic Material before a Republic Death count.
