Its not that the game itself is criminally underrated, its that the state of ubisoft and triple AAA gaming has been nothing but insulting and deceiving to players. Especially star wars games considering theres been one, maybe two, good star wars games in a decade

I mean the only console Star Wars games in the past 10 years are the Jedi series (great), Squadrons (decent/good), and the Battlefronts, so this is a bit unfair of a take when it's just 5 games, 3 of which were positives. Also as for Ubisoft, it's not them making the game it's Massive. Ubi is just the producer. Yes, a lot of AAA games have been underwhelming but there have been a lot of great ones as well. The real issue in AAA gaming outside of big series titles (which are lazy and bad) is the cost of games, which is not exclusive to this game.

EA may have the most extreme and blatant single microtransaction fiasco (BF2), but Ubisoft has the worst track record for consistently killing games with them. I have little faith in this sadly, and if I ever get the game, it will be 6 months minimum after release. I need to see how everything plays out.

A star destroyer just popping in space is probably the most intimidating thing i’ve seen

Hope we can customize her hair. I’m not really a fan of her default style. Also, can we find Obi-Wan’s home when he was hiding on Tatooine?

I'm making a bold prediction, and I'll come back in September when I've played the story to see if I'm right... The heist they're selling as the main plot is only part of the story. I believe there's a giant chunk of plot they're keeping under wraps.

The empire baning pod racing is actually kinda good, like there should be a sport where people crash and die with the ability for kids to join kinda a bad thing

This game is going to be fire, I bet nothing will top this when it comes out, this just looks so detailed and good

As per the game demo, Ubisoft showed there was a person that offered Kay to clear her “wanted status” on the planet level.

That’s kinda sick seeing ur ship go from planet to space I would love to fly though the clouds tho sounds fun like andor did imagine tie fighters near the ground this game sounds interesting imma wait for gameplays and probably play through too

You can do that with no man's sky, maybe star citizen not sure. Star link battle for Atlas has similar vibes but no ground combat or space combat

@@MaxRamos8 Star citizen lets you go flying from planets to space, you can even climb out of the spaceship and jump off of it and fall into the planet from space (there's a video on youtube of people using vehicles as drop pods and surviving the fall). honestly I would play star citizen but im waiting for them to implement server meshing because then the game will actually be in a really good state

Hey man, I'm really happy ur that excited about a game. I think I was a kid the last time I got that excited about one, and it was over Skyrim. I remember researching any info about any aspect of the game, and it felt like an eternity before the release. I'm glad you feel that kinda magic. It warms my heart. I hope it's great.

Were you able to see the inventory screen is it like the rpg ac games where it shows the character in the center and the equipment on each side also did you happen to see what effect each outfit piece had like lower cooldown time for your overheated blaster for example?

As a character like this an if it involves stealth missions an that is there any chance to get an ability like if you are stealth mode an knock out a stormtrooper not killing them but knocking them out an being able to steal his uniform and you can disguise your self as the enemy an possibly if you knock them out and steal there outfit you can keep it. Just an idea which would be awesome 🤩

Hey Andrew, you should play Jedi Kight: Jedi Academy. It's a really good underrated game. It has customization, and you can chop Imperials lims off. It may not have an open world like modern games, but it's still one of my top three favorite star wars games of all time.

It's not going to brother. Your expactations are way too high! I think it'll be fun! But it's NOT going to get even half as good as rdr2. That games was a one in a decade game. I don't want you to be dissapointed! It's not gonna reach that level of goodness

If you were a Jedi, that would be plausible. But you're really just a smuggler with a gun, which is why I hope the Empire will be an actual threat. A squad of Stormtroopers should already be a valid threat, at least early on, while Death Troopers should basically be like bosses. But seeing how easily that one Death Trooper got taken out, I don't have high hopes.

The combat in the official videos we've seen look too easy, it just seems difficult because the developer behind the controller was a bad shot/aimer and I think he was trying to make everything look too cinematic. Realistically, good players would have made light work of the stormtroopers in the hangar as well as Jaba's goons outside of Mos Eisley in the 10 minute gameplay video.

@@OfficialNinjaNoodlethese trailers are never played at a high difficulty level, my guess it’s on ez. But knowing Ubisoft a higher difficulty would just mean bullet sponges instead of smarter and aggressive ai.

@@viperson9818 yea but what i mean is, difficulty in most games does not mean smarter AI. No matter what, games made by Ubisoft will always be easy for many players with good aim and game sense. Thats why sometimes the missions become boring. They need to balance that out by making amazing storytelling and writing and character dialogues and emotional storylines but Ubisoft is terrible at writing good stories. imagine if Rockstar made an open world Star Wars game... that would be so fun and the story would be 11/10

This game is slowly starting to look better for me. I can say I’m excited for the game now but still gonna wait for a month or two after launch to see how well people like it.

Well by the look of things it might take upto 40+ hrs to complete the entire game i just hope that we can collect and craft the materials for outfits and upgrades for ships and blasters and the speeder

people will always complain about something irrelevant they dont like about a game thats not even out yet, m glad u made it clear that this its not about creating your own character and that it was not the developers intention

This game does look pretty neat, but I’m still holding out for the day we get a Skyrim-like Star Wars RPG. Set it during the Galactic Civil War. Have a planet system similar to the LEGO Skywalker Saga. Maybe have an option to be a surviving Jedi, but definitely have the ability to customize a character and have an Imperial and Rebel storyline similar to Skyrim.

Gotta watch out for that LORE enforcement

The only problem with the game is I heard the studio is considering ads on a literal video game

This game looks great but I’m wondering if you can shoot anyone or only in combat scenarios?

The environments look really good, but i kinda dislike how the faces and movements look. Jedi survivor really nailed how sharp the faces and character models look.

Im not a big fan of creating a character in story driven games. I prefer customization for the character like in RDR2 is more my speed. Let me change the close hair weapons type of thing

My only criticism of Kay’s design is that they didn’t use the likeness of her voice actor (as far as I can tell). Cameron got to be the face of Kal, meaning if he ever makes a live action appearance we already know who will play him. Kay is probably less likely to make a live action appearance but they had a great live action actress right there in front of them who looks like what they envisioned for the character. Seems like a no brainer not to just use her face too along with her voice. (Humberly could still play Kay in live action as they look similar enough but still seems like a missed opportunity).

The only “complaints” I have is that it’s not gonna be multiplayer (which is a shame given the success of other Star Wars MMORPGs like The Old Republic) & that the main character isn’t customizable to your own liking. Other than that though, the game looks good so far

People asking if you can make your own character when it's shown you are playing as a character named Kae Vess? This isn't SWTOR where you can make your own character. Six star wanted out in space and a Star Destroyer just pops up would be a riot. Imagine taking that out? Thank the force there is an escape method.

Not sure why they didn't just do a Doctor Aphra game or have the main character be her. Considering the character already has a built-in fan base, perhaps UbiSoft should've gone w/her. Would love to see dlc or fan mod that swaps Kay's character model for Aphra.

I would’ve loved to be able to land wherever I want on a planet, but that’s just unrealistic when Deb try to deliver on that kind of game you get Starfield. The landing pad taking control of your ship is actually canon. I like that detail. However, it would be super cool to pilot the ship on my own during reentry, but beggars can’t be choosers. Am I right?
