Whenever I got a star map I would go to dantooine to relax. It helped in no way with the plot but I just thought it was beautiful

@@markl5998 Yeah, I read that somewhere. In many RPG's, these places are designed for the players to want to go back and relax, and reflect on how far they've come from this starting point, and wonder if they'll ever go back to the way it was.

The in-game sounds like the generator, birds, footsteps etc. make this 10x better. I really fell like I'm on Dantooine again.

I love how we can feel like we're somewhere we've never been before.

This game inspired me to learn every language on Earth, because in the game you innately knew every alien language. Knowing that this game will always be a part of my life and in my heart is enough for me to accept that I am growing up, and that the time this game entered my life is becoming further away. I will miss the years, and my adolescence (I am turning 20 next month) but I will always carry this game's essence in my heart. Those words are not enough.

***** Thank :,3 I remember jogging around the Matale estate looking at the sun set and watching some sensors on the estate spin with the old xbox graphics. That is one place I've always felt safe and secure throughout the tumult of my life.

Artemis Arrow You know what I used to do? When I was younger, and was on the dark planets like Korriban, and Kashyyyk, I would be so tense, and stressed because it was such a dark setting for me. I would fly all the way to Dantooine, and go just outside the Jedi settlement to watch the sun, plains, and the small flock of birds fly in the background every once in a while, in the game and listen to the music. It calmed me down all the time.

H0wlrunn3r I surprised anyone else did what I did. Thanks for mentioning! It was mainly the Shadowlands that had me so tense. I always hated the Shadowlands when I was younger for how dark and scary it was. Even the invisible mandalorians scared me.

This version of Dantooine, combined with this soundtrack, is the most beautiful location in all Star Wars. If I would have to choose on which planet I want to live, I'd choose this one for sure.

This brings me back to the time when i was a kid and evreything was so simple and awsome,and when video games had a soul,not just mindless hacking and slashing.

The council would not normally accept an adult for training, but this is a special case.

Serenity melds with beauty...after seeing Taris destroyed this was so amazing to come to!

If I somehow think about Jedi - I think about Dantooine with this music backgrounding. KotoR is a masterpiece. I wish they did a show using this world, less CGI, more talking and thinking. In the desperate atmosphere of being seiged by the Sith.

This place was my home away from home. It was beautiful, and it was where I finally opened up to the power of the Force. It hurts my heart that the place is nothing but ruins by KotoR 2.

One of my favorite things to do back in the day when I played this game was create a save right before each Major planet including Taris. That way I could just re do certain planets and quests whenever. It's always the most fun imo going to the planet for the first time

Love for this game and especially for the Dantooine and the Maanan soundtrack

I've always loved the soundtrack to both games, especially this one. I use these videos on a sleep soundtrack for me to relax after a long day at work. These make me want to replay the game for the 20th time or so...

This is beautiful

I remember returning here my first playthrough after completing each of the other planets, hoping I'd have enough credits for the legendary armor and weapons for Carth or Canderous. But also to hear the calming music at the academy and surrounding fields, and to watch the sunset. That beautiful...illogically unending sunset. Ah Dantooine, how I miss it so. When I was mortal I never cared much for places like it because it was so peaceful, but after witnessing so many war filled centuries I don't think about Dantooine that way anymore.-Keldore Vien reflecting on the past.

Ive been playing since i was 5 now im 13 spent atleast 100k hours in it its my version of heaven.

This music is so heavenly and lovely. It brings me back my childhood days when I played this on the original Xbox console. I still play this game but on PC now! I'm obsessed with it. If someone asked me what sounds like Heaven to you, I would say this place for sure! :)

This song is awesome; it took me a while to peg what this song reminded me of, and I realized it reminded me of something you might hear in TES: Oblivion.

That temple on Dantooine was just so damn relaxing for me. I could enjoy everything about it especially with the sounds and music. I hope we can get Legends onto the silver screen, man I miss it.

+314 Arts Thank you for taking the time to write this. Honestly it all goes back to the incredible minds that had the ability to think far enough outside the box to envision the Star Wars Galaxy in a new and different way that would one day become what we now know as KOTOR :)

I wish these were longer, like a couple of hours would be great! Other than that great stuff! I have been listening to this while studying and it has actually made me start a new Kotor playthrough.

Best Star Wars game ever made. I played every class. Sad that they ruined it with SWTOR....

everyone is doing cover versions of the rebuilt jedi enclave and not for this version.

What SWTOR did with this wonderful universe was utter defiling. Revan? A force ghost and a maniac that threatens the galaxy. Atho City? A stupid lab for conspiracies. A damn mission when it had been the best planet in KOTOR. The only good thing was actually Alderaan. It did feel beautiful. But once more, the game mechanics ruined it for me. Thank goodness for the soundtrack of that game, tho.

There was more to the Revan story in SWTOR and Tatooine is pretty atmospheric but I do have to agree. While I semi enjoy the game it could have been much better.
