@@icelandicstudios3648 Back in the Sengoku Jidaï, if a lord ordered his samuraï to slaughter children, and te samuraï do it without question, it was considered as honor as the samuraï was serving his lord faithfully and carrying actions beneficial to the clan. From a samuraï point of view, Vador's dedication to Sidious and the Empire makes him an honorable person. Jedi are based on a very idealized version of the samuraï. Vador is the realistic one.

Fantatical warriors of the God-Emperor, they worship him as a deity, and amongst their floating fortress of the Star of Crimson Wrath, plan to launch hellfire down upon hamlets still disobedient to his rule. Trained to the upmost in the mystical arts of the Essence of Life, they are impervious to bribes, immune to compromise and incapable of mercy, they are the God-Emperor's loyal vanguard. Led by the now fallen Lord Samurai Warrior Vader, he has harnased the evilest of forces contained in the dark side of the Essence of Life, the Essence of Death, and through the power he summons by the dark gods of the Black Mountain in his blood ceremonies he can cause devestation with his sword of flaming red, The Dragons Fire. In a small fishing village of Tatoo-ine, far from the main theatre of battle, a young fishing boy will fulfil his destiny. Stung by his loss, Lukeresh, his naming meaning He Who Walks Amongst the Skies, has gained new insight and much knowledge in his task to avenge his parents, and must pursue the struggle to its end!

"It's dishonorable" - guy in movie that has no idea that the samurai had already been shooting Each other for 300 years. In fact, honor was nowhere near as significant to the samurai as often portrayed. Sure, they still followed it, but if presented with the ultimatum, they'd choose results over dignity.

This is one of the few renditions of the Imperial theme I've heard that didn't sound evil, it just *is.* They feel neither exceptionally heroic or menacing, just proud, professional, and capable.

Thing is, instead of getting butthurt instantly consider the following: The Sith codex NEVER tells ANYONE to enslave people, kill others or be an overall dick. Thats just the Sith we get shown, because of course they exist. But basically being a Sith means to trust you heart, accepting and channelizing your emotions and to become a better being than you used to be. That many Sith are evil has nothing to do with the basic Sith code beind evil. You should really not judge a whole people by one example.

That many of them are dicks is because this way is way more attractive to selfish bastards than the Jedi. And i just meant that saying Sith=evil is absolutely wrong. When I watch the end of the Vader versus Luke duel in Empire Strikes back at the end, when Vader just cuts Luke's hand and stays while holding his lightsaber with both of his hands i'm always reminded of a samurai, of some sort. More specifically, I get the image of Shogun from Shadow Fight 2 in my head. Both of them have many things in common actually. They look like the devil, wherever they go they bring destruction and intimidate their opponent just by the looks from miles away.

Okay, someone at Disney needs to pitch a Star Wars anime remake with Sam’s music in the background.
