Yes the clones very much have a soul and emotions and their own individual personalities too. The animated series “the clone wars” is long but a good watch. Really shows the little details of how anakin turned to the dark side and how the clones lived etc

If you realise, Count Dooku had the chance to cut any leg or arm to Obi Wan, but he only hurted him. Although Dooku was in the dark side, before of all this he loved his apprentice Qui Gon Jinn. And remembering him... didn´t want to hurt more than necessary at Qui Gonn´s apprentice.

Some have already mentioned it since you asked about the clones, and I agree, after you watch Episode 3, you will want to watch the Clone Wars series. It might be best to watch the Clone Wars movie before you watch the series. For the most part, the events on the movies and series take place between Episodes 2 and 3.

You were wondering about the clones "souls" at one point. As they are exact clones of a man they would for most part be "human" just raised only to be warriors and serve, giving numbers instead of names. Though they had varied personalities and made their own names for example CT-5555 was given the name Fives, others would be wolf, Rex, boomer. They seen eachother all as brothers and retained the ability to feel emotions for the most part.

Some things I think you missed regarding this movie: -Count Dooku has another name given to him by his Sith Lord Master, Darth Sidious. The name is Lord Tyranus. Jango Fett, the bounty hunter Obi-Wan tracked down, said he was hired by a man named Tyranus -Count Dooku used to be a Jedi. Sometime before this movie began he left the Jedi Order due to differing political ideology. He was the one who deleted evidence of the planet of Kamino from the Jedi Archives before leaving the Jedi Order. Kamino is the cloners planet. It is clear that he joined Darth Sidious before leaving the Jedi Order completely -Anakin was 19 and Padme was 24 in this film

@@bluebird3281 Qui Gon was antagonistic towards the Jedi council because he was more of a traditional jedi which used the force to guide him, rather than mandated orders from superiors to maintain peace. Which Qui Gon was correct about, because by episode 3 the jedi were glorified Generals rather than maintaining balance and enacting the will of the force, which led to their downfall

Thank you for sharing your experiences watching these classics. In my view; I was old enough to see the originals when they came out, and as a young man, was focused on the tech and action. However over the years I have realized the tragedy of Star wars is it's a true love story. Showing the blinding highs and unthinkable lows, that love and love denied drives people too. This separates us from the machines depicted in the moves.

I was involved with Lucas Licensing during Episode 1 and the beginning for 2 when 1 was on screens all over the world. When the story for 2 was being disclosed, Lucas walked in on that meeting and explained that 2 was going to be a love story. 1 didn't live up to his expectations marketing-sales wise, and he expected 2 to surpass it love story or not. As the Lucas licensing people went into Hotel Sierra mode, Lucas eventually returned saying "OK, I don't know how to write a love story, so 2 is going to be an action film". Licensing people started breathing again.

You're right about the cloners: not good & not evil--they're businessmen, growing clones for whoever has the money to pay for them. Same for the bounty hunter--his allegiance is to money only. All your remaining questions will be answered in episode 3 (my favorite--bcs it links the prequels to the original trilogy). I'll say no more for now, to not spoil your experience, & I'll wait for your next reaction. One last thing without spoiling too much: Why Yoda and jedis can't see what's happening: bcs the sith hide their intentions & actions using the dark side of the force--the only way to go through this is to use powers of the dark side too, which the jedis can't do (forbidden by their code of honor). I could tell you more, but it would ruin your experience & I don't want to do that. Maybe more, but only after you watched the 6 movies. I may give you the title of another 21 minutes video that tells the story from the start (creation of jedis & Siths, their numerous wars, all important names, etc...) it lasts 21 minutes, but I'll give you only later, it contains major spoilers, but interesting to understand how it all started billions of years before episode 1. It doesn't go in too much details, but it cover the entire timeline created by George Lucas. But only after episode 3. Have a nice day, Emma.

This one is actually my favorite of the prequels. Yes the love story is cringy and Anakin is a whiny little bitch, but there’s some really good stuff there that feels the most like the original trilogy. This is the only time we see this amount of Jedi fighting in one place! All of those lightsabers looks great! And seeing Yoda battle Dukoo was amazing! The political plot really thickens here too.

I wish you could watch the clone wars before you watch Revenge of the Sith it shows a lot of the War and what the characters went through. Plus it shows Aniken having an apprentice namemed Asoka. She will come up later in other Star Wars stories. But it's fine if you move on to Revenge of the Sith. I do recommend for you to watch The Mandolorian, it rakes place after Return of the Jedi. As well as The Book of Boba Fet. By the way the child that was holding his fathers helmet grows up to be the bounty hunter Bobba Fet who took Han Solo frozen body in Empire Strikes back. To answer your question about why the Tuskens killed Anakin's mother, it was for the most cruel reason of all. They beat her and tortured her to death simply because they could. In a way, Anakin did the right thing in destroying that village. That sort of dark sickness is not something that needed to be handed down to another generation, and if anyone survived, they would have inflicted suffering on others for revenge. I'm not ashamed to say that if someone tortured my mother to death for sport, I would have done the same thing as Anakin; made sure no one was left alive to repeat it.

The problem with Yoda as teacher to Anakin is that Yoda is too dogmatic and Anakin too free-spirited (that's why he constantly argues with Obi-Wan as Obi-Wan in also very traditional Jedi, unlike his master Qui-Gon). Anakin lacks a self-control but I feel with Yoda as teacher he would only feel discouraged as Jedi and possibly would quit training and left order. Yoda's taeching have flaws and he will see that: that's why he trains Luke in episode V, depsite Luke being adult. Beacuse Yoda saw that his previous attitude to Anakin (with constantly treating young boy as potentialy dangerous) made more damage than good.

The artistic concept of Coruscant as a planetwide-city actually predates Star Wars by many years - in text, for example, Isaac Asimov conceptualized the city-planet of Trantor as the capital of a spacefaring empire in his book Foundation in 1951! One particular source of "inspiration" for Star Wars (to be kind to Lucas - many would say he outright pilfered ideas) was the Franco-Belgian comic book-series Valerian & Laureline, (1971-2010) detailing the adventures of two spatio-temporal agents fixing problems across time and space. To give an idea of how influential to Star Wars Valerian was, here are a couple of plot points from its earlier volumes : the male lead being frozen solid in a rectangle of solid matter, being rescued by the female lead; the female lead being in the thrall of a fat, gluttonous being and being forced to wear a metal bikini; ... Oh, and the ship they use? A flat, oblong ovoid ship with a split at the front and an arced thruster at the back ... much like the Millenium Falcon. Many of the alien creatures they created also influenced those of Star Wars (If you're interested, UK publisher Cinebook has published English verions of its albums) French director Luc Besson has made two films linked to Valerian as well : *The Fifth Element* (1997), which, like Star Wars, borrows a lot of conceptual and design elements without being a direct adapation, and *Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets* (2017), a direct adapation of the comic book. ... interestingly, the former is often considered the better adapation, as the later suffer from pacing & writing issues, and also a *terribly* miscast duo of lead actors. Given how you seem to like the worldbuilding and space opera feel of the Star Wars Saga, I heartily recommend watching The Fifth Element as well. Valerian ... can be watched too, as it's a technical &visual marvel, but don't expect too much of it as a story.

Loved the story but Hayden's acting as Anakin? Yuk, dialogue he was handed sucked tough, thankfully his performance in the next one is much better, episode 3 great movie and far more dramatic, over all the prequels were good, then Disney bought Lucas Films and ruined everything...
