Yeah, night dive 3 reforged, worse than existing mods. There's a big reason why nightdive doesn't remaster games with a modding community, and that's because the modders do a better job and don't make bad changes to the game. Not to say all of the remasters are bad, but anyone following night dive knows they're not the best at it either. Acceptable mediocrity on average, some good, some bad.

Same vultures are picking apart and dissecting every game from the 90s for profit. And idiots will still line up to give them free money despite the fact that a simple google search and moddb download will give them the exact same thing.

@@JohnDoe-ip3oq What are you talking about? They remade Doom, Quake/Quake II, Dark Forces 1 is the latest victim. Dark Forces 1 has a rather sizable modding community. Nothing like Doom obviously, but still a rather large selection of custom levels. The sad irony is fans already released a source port, and just a year or two later Night Dive come out with a paid source port, marketed as "remastered."

Such a classic, love this game

Games like this didn't really have a lot of resources and tricks to work with. Sprites and a 3D room to run around. Level design to keep the game interesting was EVERYTHING. I honestly believe the reason the Half Life games were so beloved is 99% because the levels were so interesting. I can't really think of many modern games where the levels are something to overcome. Mostly they're just scenery and eye candy. I remember being terrified of the first levels in Coruscant because it had a couple of huge open drops and you fell ALL the way down. There was no instant death animation, it was full plummet into an impact that took all your health.

mods looks great, but lack the weapons movement when running right ?

This is not the entire game correct? only a few levels are complete?

i think your confusing this with the unreal engine version being built from the ground up. This on the other hand is a combination of mods you install on top of the existing game.

How dod you get it working, do you use dgVodoo wrapper?

Considering Star Wars: Dark Forces has an official remaster, I don't suppose the modding community will be able to make some additional improvements like with the music?

Works like a charm on the Steam Deck installed directly from a CD ISO and with patches applied for updated textures and no-cd crack. Works for Mysteries of the Sith also.

Why dont you "talk" to the civilians?...."I know nothing" "Leave me alone" as far as I remember.......I liked that idk why....
