The older BFs were better. It would’ve been awesome if the capital ships were on rails, we could board them, repair the shields, man the turrets and fire on starfighters trying to board us and infiltrate the enemy capital ship while coming up on our flank to fire all their broadsides like in Episode 3. Controlling the smaller cruisers would be interesting. The player could simultaneously control all the turrets or let the AI fire while we steer the ship. So many possibilities. If they make a third game DICE better listen to us and learn from their mistakes.

Sound: eh, ill give you that one Wide range of maps: not nearly as many as the original BF2, and even then they're very limited Large amount of heroes: sure but is this a game about playing as a trooper or playing as a hero? - vehicles: the vehicles arent even actual vehicles, they're mf classes to pick from all free dlc: Aka content that was meant to be in the base game EA rushed Better progression system - why have one in the first place no more microtransactions: the fact that it used to have them shows EA's greed again Honestly.. the new battlefront series can fuck right off. I am however glad they re-enabled multiplayer support for the classics so we can play the Battlefront 3 that was meant to release in 2009 but got cancelled. Glad its back through the aid of modders.

it's smart to destroy enemy fighters, cause then there's less to shoot at your teammates and make your reinforcement counts drop

The music at the start of the match is so epic :o reminds me of duel of the fates

I wish this game mode got more updates and content. Like include b wings, tie defenders, add obi wan and grevious ship. And they needed to fix the millennium Falcon.

there were only two modes i had with starfighter assault 1. its servers are practically a baron wasteland 2. players dont know how to follow the objective so its usually up to one or two individuals to win the game for the team

To answer the second reason, players don't care about the objective, only taking down other players

This game is the coolest game ever made.

I remember the very first time I got this map I hopped in an ARC-170 and literally flew back and forth between the tractor beams and never died or even got hit! ( and caused most of the damage as well...) But this was only a month after launch so I credit it to people not knowing what to do.

That's one hell of a pilot!!!

Wish they would bring some content for star fighter assault.

Why all the bad reviews when this game first came out?? This game looks amazing!! Hopefully as good as the first one. I LOvED in the first one you could fight in space then land in the ships and fight on foot or fly to down to the planet and started fighting. I hope they still have that in this one

This is not right! When I play this, the enemy fighters zip and make hairpin turns like houseflies. They never fly steady enough to stay behind or shoot head on. What in the settings am I missing?
