Modders already did it on PC. Star Wars Battlefront 3 Legacy. Consumers are dumb. Begging shitty woke companies to milk their man tits for a 20 year old game. All they did was turn on the servers temporarily to milk them. Literally no new features but you praise Sony and Woke Lucasarts for reselling you the same game that still exists on private servers.

05:35 If it doesn't have online Galactic Conquest on Playstation 4 and 5 you can use the Share Play function and you can play the game online as if you were playing local co-op. Helpful trick incase true online isn't an option.

Dear younger crowd, you may find this game doesn’t have battle royal or super modern features. But, give it a chance. There is a reason why these games are so revered by the old guard. They are classics and amazing games. I really hope you play and can enjoy them as much as we did. We didn’t have the option of playing 100 different games. I had maybe 10 at my disposal and I just played this over and over and over again. I can’t wait to play online and get mad that I am not as good against ai as I am against real players. No, that isn’t sarcasm. I legit can’t wait. Happy star wars to all and to all a star wars night.

I understand the question of "will there be DLC in the future?" But for those who haven't played before and will be playing for the first time in a few weeks, you'll see how much is PACKED IN already. Not to mention that there are two games. It's a throwback to when you payed for a game and... Well.... you got the full game and didn't have to wait for later DLC to get your money's worth

If it is compatible with mods, I can almost guarantee that it will be exclusive to the Steam version. Everyone getting their hopes up for mods on console is going to be disappointed

@@leorojas6390 don't know why my first response was deleted but just to let you know. Mod io is similar to bethesda net in consoles for fallout 4 and skyrim, it's an in-game mod browser. Also, performance is no longer an issue for this very old game. OG xbox and ps4 can handle gta 5 and red dead redemption smoothly, pretty sure this game would be like a swiss cheese

Honestly This is the biggest surprise so far for the year. The first Battlefront was the first game my family got when we finally got a PS2 for the family. And I got Battlefront II and a build your own lightsaber kit the Christmas of 2006. Can't remember now what that kit was called but I loved the hell at of that thing as well as playing Battlefront II. My brothers and I would constantly play versus with each other in the hero vs hero mode.

The fact that the old Battlefront games are coming back, it’s INSANE! I thought we would NEVER EVER see these games ever again! I DEFINITELY thought wrong!

This game defined so much of my gaming childhood. First online gaming experience, first use of downloading and playing mods, friends made, tournaments, rpg servers, etc. this will be a nostalgia hit unlike any other and coming out during a time where my cranky old butt does nothing but complain about new games and longs for the classics.

I pre-ordered last night ready for to play when it launch March 14 and can't wait to play with u brother and anyone else this gonna be some much fun I'm gonna play both games back and forth just like you said yesterday

I never played this game online back in the day since I was about 6 years old when I first played this game, but now experiencing this at 23 and getting multiplayer as well is like my childhood coming true (,:

Not only am i excited for this, but i hope this shines a lot, and i mean a lot of light on the Battlefront franchise as a whole. Hopefully, this encourages a developer to make a proper Battlefront 3.

Those Battlefront II bonus maps are some of my favorite maps from Battlefront 1! I wish they would also include Bespin Platforms. I really like that one in BF1

I am SO excited for this! I also missed out on multi-player but I used to play the split screen with my friends all the time. The original game was so pure. No season/battle passes, no loot boxes, no kill streak rewards or battle points to earn vehicles. If you were a good pilot you chose the engineer and grabbed a vehicle at one of the spawn points. I cannot wait to buy this and I hope it really catches on and shows publishers how multi player should be

The hype is real!

When these games came out I was 8-9 years old (28 now) I never got to play Online as I didn't have internet back then. Can't wait to play them again 😊

OH MY GOD, I totally missed the Battlefront 3 mod port! YIKES! This is going to be a LOT better than the simulations! And if they decide to add DLC and new content - I'd pay for it to support the idea of a new Battlefront 3 - that would be great!

I literally just bought both games on the Xbox store a few weeks ago for 4.99 apiece. Both run FANTASTIC and look tremendous on the XSX, both come with all the DLC, as this collection does, and both have almost non-existent load times. I just can’t imagine there’s going to be much difference (apart from online play, which I don’t do) between the 2 games I got for 5 dollars each, vs this new bundle they’re selling for 35 dollars…

Two things here. One, Hero Assault is coming to all ground maps. Also, it is getting remastered. So all textures are getting bumped up to 4K and it will run natively at 60fps. I own the same versions as you since they were originally free games with gold when they released. I'll definitely be picking this up for just the upgrades alone. If you prefer to play the older release for nostalgia though, go on ahead. One thing that I hate about the existing release is the dlc is riddled with bugs. I'm hoping they actually fixed that here

I wouldn’t say I was a huge gamer anymore , however this will be something I buy , they games were a big part of my youthful days

This game has been the single most consistent game in my life. I was 8 when it came out and would try and fail to play it with my dad. It was the one game all my high school friends agreed was great so we all dove back in and played a ton at age 16. Then when I started college my new roommates were also fans of the game so we got it on steam and played together all the time at the age of 21. Now I’m 26, graduated from college with a big boy job, and I’m about to dive in all over again.

I'm so hyped. I've played the modded fan remasters over the years, and they're so fun, but there's always limits to community mods. I'm excited to see these ports that are designed for modern hardware! I've taken the 14th and 15th off work and I'm gonna stream it most of those days!

I really hope galactic conquest will be able to be played online. My buddy and I used to play that mode all of the time and now that we moved away from eachother it would be great to see if we could play together again in this game

I'm paying 3 times over for these wonderful games and happy to do so. I still have my original copies, bought the digital version, and now this. Yipiiiiii

These and battlefront 3 have been asked for, for years! Finally they opened their eyes and realized that there is a market for these titles. My biggest hope is that they see a boom in players and start to throw the BF3 idea back into the mix. I mean hell, wasn't it almost finished?? Just polish it up and release it and watch how many copies you sell, hard copies and virtual. It's not a hard thing to do. Just get aspyr to back it up like they did here and boom, that company earns a profit, they gain even more customers, and the fans are happy.

I hope they have online co-op for the campaign and at least galactic conquest. That’s what I grew up playing with my best friend, so we hope it’s able to be online.

What if we have the ogs already installed on said devices (cause Xbox Gold did this with both a few years back) will we have access to the extra stuff or is it only for the CC Edition?

@@cosmicusstardust3300 if you look at the trailer and pause at certain points, they definitely uprise the textures extremely or something at least because they’re really clear than usual, especially the floor textures there’s no way they could look that clear on a PS2 and not catch it on fire😂

It's because of the textures. Lack of optimization doesn't take 45gigs, high rez textures do.

Im 16 and grew up playing BF2 on Ps2, I got the xbox one port a few years ago. It looked way better, but this, this I need. On top of that never played the first one. Now we just need a remastered version.

If this game going to be cross playable people will loose their shit! People on Xbox, playstation, & PC having fun.

If u asking for that lets also get an Elite Squadron remaster. Cause space to ground conquest battles with the ability to destroy capital ships online would be heavenly.

What I remember about the rise of the Empire is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight back to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word.

This seems to be more of an updated version of the psp version of battlefront 2 as that was a different one from the consoles having more maps and features but still, having hero assault on more than 2 maps is absolutely amazing as well as having console exclusive characters together, kit fisto and ventress. Very excited

I was born at the tail end of gen z so I've never played either games and I'm extremely excited already have it pre-ordered

It's great for consoles but for people who play on PC with mods its just not worth it I feel. It is cool they are bringing multiplayer though.

I can’t wait to play these online. I only every played multiplayer split screen with a like one other person. 64 multiplayer will be absolutely insane

I’m so damn excited for this. I never got to play it online. I was born in 2003 I only played against bots mainly but it was the first game I played and I love Star Wars and battlefield so to play THE star was battlefront from back in the day online and everything for real I’m so excited can’t wait!
