Singleplayer campaign is one way, arcade mode is probably better for it. Idk if that helps.

Honest question: Where are you getting these lobbies? Are they custom matches or normal open lobby games. Im not really in a position to complain about noobs in my lobbies because im a noob myself, but my games have been one-sided to an outrageous extend. The one team filed with veterans that probably play since day 1 and then the other team that feels like being filled with bots or new players up to 90%. The result depending on which team im on is either that I cant even leave my spawn without being pre fired by blasters rockets and force whielders, or games where literally nothing is happening at all because the enemy team has either disconnected or filled with so many bots that no real immersive battles ever occure. This is my current galactic assault experience, supremacy is even worse. A never ending nightmare where the enemy team deliberately looses the occupation of our ship to gain even more kill points and farm exp.

there never was matchmaking in BFII. It's pure luck.
