I mean, I usually find matches for the larger game modes (galactic assault and supremacy) but some of the less well-played ones are dying (like heroes Starfighters or hero showdown) - takes ages to find a match. I’m on console though, I’ve heard some can’t find matches at all in other places - try changing server region and matchmaking. I used to do this on BF 2015 and it usually worked, idk if it will work for BF 2017 but it’s worth a try.

Volume is muted or muffled sometimes where copyrighted music plays. Not ideal I know but it’s just something I have to do for YT.

Not usually - been thinking about setting up a server so people can always join a (hopefully very active) lobby. Been hearing a lot that people are stuck in matchmaking forever or if they do find a match it's empty because the servers are dead where they are. So it might be a good idea just to help people actually play the game they bought. I just don't have time rn to set one up though.
