Mon Cala ships are the best looking ships

I love my MC-30. Making sure to increase the survivability with upgrades is the really only way to fly it. Running at speed is the best way to fly, of course.

I loved when I unlocked this ship for the first time in Empire at War. Man it was such a good missile boat and completely decimated the Imperial Fleet.

As a new player to Armada, I really appreciate these videos. I have learned quite a bit from these videos. I have been pondering other fleets now.....

It’s cool they chose this ship to put in the game. It’s pretty obscure, at least in Legends.

Yeah it was introduced in a PC game and most PC game introduced ships don't show up in the books much unfortunately

Currently, I run 3 in a Swarm, Foresight with Cracken, EST, RBD OE/Racks/XI7 The other two are MCEF with EST/Projectors/OE/APT/XI7. Great fun so far

I know that it is an "MC" ship, but I had never made the connection that it was Mon Calamari. Neat Fact

Always love these ship breakdown videos, this is actually a deadly small ship for the rebels but the only 4 hull would have me worried that it would die quickly. Still if given the chance I'd love to give it a go

Shotgun on iceskates...my favorite rebel ship in the game! I run three torpedo frigates with Mon Mothma or Cracken. OE/ExRacks/H9s. Foresight as the Flag, Lando on Admo and the third with Walex. Two GR-75s to support with Munitions Resupply and Comms Net. Then Tycho, Shara and Two Scurrgs. 4 or 5 point bid and have been dropping Admo lately just relying on Lando instead.

I love my MC 30 I only have one but its there to be a thorn in there side if they hunt it then the rest of my fleet is going to have fun. I run Dodonna so have Assault torps for the well your getting a face up card so tough, I usually have Redundant shields but might give something else a try. Also like Raymus to boost what the ships doing either battering a ship or repairing itself.

That last build idea sounds pretty solid, I'll have too give it a whirl. Thank you good sir.

As a (very) new Imperial player I HATE these ships. My regular opponent always runs 2 of these. I need a decent counter to them as a priority purchase!

Obvious answer is XI-7 Turbolasers to shut down the redirects. When I go against them, I usually try to focus them down first, they're weak at long range and those tokens burn out fast when you've got a couple of ships hammering on it. If you know your opponent is going to run them, try an Arquitens with Needa, Advanced projectors and TRCs. MC-30s hit hard, but they can't afford to sit around and slug it out, so if you can focus on them first, they'll go up in flames.

Several MC30 scouts with Sato, assault proton torpedoes and a bunch of A-wings could be super deadly. Fire black dice at long range

I've done that several times, actually. Sato, MC-30 Scout with ACMs, Ordnance Expert, and Spinals. Two red in every direction that Sato can change to blacks and reroll. Long-range ACMs are nasty.

The MC-30 and the Nebulon-B are my favorite rebel ships!

Can be an interesting raddus drop, but mostly if you're going first. Drop it with a double arc then gtfo at speed 4. Maybe whip back around later in the game

MC30 is probably my favorite ship for Rebels. It really gives them a punch and is really annoyingly survivable to your opponents.

MC-30 is one of my favorite capital ships. It's fast, sleak, and can hit like a truck.

MC30, Starhawk, GR-75 and a Pelta (plus fighters for screen). First build I ever made that actually made the starhawk effective. MC30 torpedo raced in as a distraction and did a great job softening up the targets and I used flecette torpedo's to bounce damage and the starhawk would trot up to the biggest ship the opponent had and RAM (yup and nobody sees that coming) him to death. Most effective way I ever found to use him. Then the GR and Pelta hid behind the starhawk keeping it alive and I used reikan as an admiral for backup. Took second at my tournament with that list.

Officer Kyrsta on Foresight with DBYs and reactive gunnery would be pretty scrappy.

I've got one, and would like to pick up a second for some sudo pack hunting

I run 3 MC-30s, my favorite honestly, I fly them 3 or 4 and try to dump all the die into the biggest enemy ship and then fly out. So much fun, but so scary on the approach.

I really like this ship design (Although I know I say that for everyone).

As a new player, these videos are brilliant and I want more!

I love Empire but I dont roll with my MC30s that much… When I saw your video I was looking through my lists and saw my ackbar MC30s list. I should dust that shit off

I love how the rules reflect how it flew and fought in EAW, really nice attention to detail and gameplay!

My second favorite ship in the game. If I'm making a Rebel fleet there will be at least one Nebulon-B and one MC30C and probably a Pelta in the mix

I have a very few amount of ships, but I have enough to do a fight. My dad and I usually end up using Gladiator VS the MC30, and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to rush him or if im supposed to manuver. The gladiator has all those black dice which can very quickly kill you,and the MC30 can as well so I'm not exactly sure what to do. Any ideas?

Hey, in your last suggestion for a build, having a MC30 for 98 points isn´t it too many points for a small ship?

Everybody has been sleeping on most- or all-MC30 MSUs, and it drives me nuts. No one runs them, or at least never reports on them!

Max is 5 but they're lean as hell. 4 fat ones can fill out a list and wreck almost anything it faces. Especially with the MCEF, despite what Crabock says it's awesome for shield and damage Regen in a larger fleet.
