MegaShadowblast When Disney bought Star Wars, they made a couple episodes of the Clone Wars to finish up the series. And in one of those episodes, Yoda goes to "Morriban: Ancient Birthplace of the Sith." and since The Clone Wars is cannon, Korriban is now Morriban.

I prefer the Sith code aswell. If I was initiated as a Jedi I would probably leave the order as I don't agree with their philosophy in shutting themselves in.

I think the only fault of the sith is that their leaders let their lust for power consume them which corrupted them. However, I see nothing inherently evil about the sith code. It is about achieving power and through that power, you break free of your limitations which hold you back.

Both the Sith Code and the Jedi Code have problems that limit their ability to grow in the Force. If I were Force Sensitive, I would follow the unofficial code: Flowing through all, there is balance There is no peace without a passion to create There is no passion without peace to guide Knowledge stagnates without the strength to act Power blinds without the serenity to see There is freedom in life There is purpose in death The Force is all things and I am the Force It combines the passion that gives the Sith strength with the peace that keeps the Jedi from corruption and destruction.

If you have a solid enough PC, I highly suggest purchasing them. Dirt cheap on Steam. The modding community is strong with these two. And a modding group I'm proud to be a part of is working to reconstruct all the cut content of KOTOR 2.

ColonelSmoke Having played both recently, and KOTOR 2 with the restored content patch 1.8.3 + M4-78 Droid Planet, I can easily say KOTOR 2 > KOTOR 1, however they are both masterpieces and a must have if you like videogames and Star Wars

Whoever didnt get to watch the first 6 Star Wars movies, did NOT have a childhood...

The classic Sith theme, which started with Emperor Palpatine, will stand the test of time, but the sound of the first selection (0:01 - 4:45), the sound of ancient malevolence and power beyond reckoning, in my opinion stands head and shoulders beside the classic that became so well-known.

When Star Wars was sooooo great, before Disney

1.) Vader: Most powerful in terms of sheer Force ability. 2.) Revan: Most strategically minded. 3.) Sideous: Most thought out and successful, but ultimately, flawed, plan to destroy the Republic and the Jedi. 4.) Sion: Best powers. 5.) Nihilus: Most destructive.

+imperialTech Dark Side is for losers, people who want easy power. That's why Sith ultimately fail every time.

Before the Frist Order, before the Empire, before the Skywalkers there were the Sith. A order of dark side users trained to feast on power and there was a time where they ruled the Galexy but another order stood in their way the Jedi Order. A Order of light to stand for peace and so they fought for centuries and one day it all ended the Jedi vanquished their ancient enemy ,but one survived and his name was Darth Bane and thus the sith continued but only two at time a master and a apprentice.

I admire the Sith for their freedom and code: Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me. It aligns with my point of view and the Sith philosophy is genius, to unleash your true potential and one day end your master so they don't be better than yourself is honestly the true way to gain victory. Glory to the Sith empire!

That 9 second piece from 5:56 to 6:05 has always disturbed me. I find it mysteriously creepy, in a very unique sort of way.

The music in Kotor 1 and Kotor 2, as well as both games themselves, are masterpieces, unmatched until this day. The story was gripping and fascinating - if only the games were more extensive, allowing us to play more, longer, developing the characters further, exploring the nuances of the story .... Still, masterpieces both.

Cant believe I've been listening to this for over a decade. Thank you for making these mixes. They genuinely helped me through some of my darkest times and helped me ground myself so I didn't forget who I was. I hope you're doing well wherever you are Skillhunter.

They need to make a movie of the old republic...like 2000 years before the phantom menace. The ancient time is sick. It's funny how ancient to them is still extremely advanced in technology

He was in the Jedi outcast and jedi academy games. He was a sith turned Jedi Master, who's abilities rivalled that of luke skywalker. Except Kyle katarn also uses dark force powers, his logic was, no power is evil, only what you do with the power can be considered evil.

This is still one of the best videos to listen to while playing SW:TOR, it doesn't matter what faction you play as.

lordzac12255 Apparently the Jedi Knight classes story was the premise for Kotor 3, I beleive it considering it is the only class to have something tied to Revan.

TheRevan1337 i see but which has more story of revan the sith or jedi. (i hate jedi and so i hope that the sith has more of a story lines then the jedi dose but i suspect that they are the same amount)

Jedi actually, there is a companion that once worked with Revan, Lord Scourge a Sith who was going to help Revan take down the emperor but got a force vision that he wasn't destined to do it so he betrayed Revan. Granted Empire side you actually fight Revan.

The whole thing is amazing, but 7:35 though...eargasm

I always describe Vitiate as the combination of Nihilus and Sidious. The great sorcerer who is a master manipulator and a great being in the force that consumes everything. Nothing can be compared to the godlike sith Darth Vitiate.

Is it me or Sith have the best character in star wars universe? There is only 1 jedi that had a brain in his head : Qui-gon Jin. Ofc we have obi wan and yoda that everyone likes but can't compare to most sith lords.

***** Agreed. The prequels made Obi Wan the exact opposite of the character he should have been. He should have been adventurous, impulsive, a "leap before you look" sort of Jedi, brimming with overconfidence.

***** Pretty much all of the Jedi were in the prequels...that's why I never really liked them. Though I feel like both the Sith *and* the Jedi are too extreme, they're opposite ends of the spectrum and so far along to each end that they're negatives...the *ORIGINAL* order, the Je'daii, I feel is the closest to the truest application of the Force, they didn't view the supposed Dark or Light sides as inherently good or bad, it was only if you went too far to either end of the spectrum when problems arose they believed....which I think is fairly accurate...

I would add Mace Windu and perhaps Bastila for knowing battle meditation. And, of course, don't forget Meetra Surik. She was a light sided force hole that even the most horrific sith (darth nihilus) could not defeat her

If they were true masters, they would not have been beaten. Sith, in reality are slaves. Slaves of themselves, and their ambitions, since that in most cases have been the cause of their defeat.

lets all celebrate the release of KOTOR 2 on the app store!!!

i would wage war upon the galaxy, not necessarily because of any dark side affiliations. but i would also defend it from impending destruction, not necesarily because of any light side affiliations. i would do this simply for the understanding of the force that comes of it. i would devote my self to the sith and jedi codes. i would do this, again, fot the understanding of the force that would come of it. i fear, however, that i could not accomplish this in one lifetime. that and im not force sensitive!

8:18 Remember Darth Maul's rampage on the Venator Star Destroyer after Ahsoka released him following Order 66? The music that played then sounds almost like this. I expect this was the inspiration for that theme.
