Yeah the whole mention of the witches comes from Dathomir. A planet that had a 'magic' users who would use chants, rituals, and more to do some interesting things with the force. In some ways they did things better than the Jedi/Sith while in others they did worse.

The most emotional scene in the entirety of Nu-Star Wars was the death of IG-11. I just like to point that out. The death of an assassin robot had more emotional impact than anything else Disney has done with Star Wars. They had to sacrifice the logical one to then resurrect him a few seasons later into a wheelchair with a YES button built into it. IG-11 was the proxy for us, the fans. That's what they want us to be. A simple carrier for their nonsense that constantly approves what they do.

It's not astonishing they managed to ruin these characters and shows, because it was deliberate, they HATE these shows these characters and these stories. They hate you and by extension everything you love. It's pure malice and hate and you shouldn't give them the benefit of any doubt that their goal is to make you feel sad, angry and disheartened. They don't want their shows to be successful, they WANT you to hate them, and they will continue to lose companies money until those companies are no longer controlled by ideologs instead of capitalists who produce what sells. We have to stomp Disney flat in the markets to the point it can be sold off to pay the debts

Dave Filoni was never on the side of the fans. He is one of the big reasons for star wars legends was erased, Dave isn't just the clown he's the entire circus. Plus, he's not a good writer or director. He hated being put in a box of the lore and continuity.

The Jedi are supposed to embody the sentiment "Be Peaceful, Not Harmless."

If there's one thing I am happy about, its that Anakin's whole story has been thoroughly documented. From his young life to his very death and redemption. No matter how they taint the franchise, they can't alter anything because fans have gotten to see his rise and fall from beginning to end. And that makes it safer than any other story at least.

With the creation of Mae and Osha is Acolyte, they've removed Ani's "specialness", his place in the universe. He's no longer unique, in that he was created BY the force to bring balance. Osha and Mae were created of the force, too, meaning Ani isn't special, and arguably no longer the chosen one. They've destroyed his origin, his existence, and his legacy.

I only told my kid about the first three, until he was old enough to understand the idea of a prequel story. The first three can stand on their own, as well as the Anakin arc of the prequels, if you want to appreciate his entire story. We don't need anything else.

It's interesting that Disney justifies their actions by invoking the First Amendment. What about Gina Carano's First Amendment right? The Constitution doesn't grant rights to companies or institutions (I challenge you to show me where it states that anywhere in that document), but does grant rights to individuals. I hope it does go to court and that it results in Carano's victory.

Then in 1970, that protection was applied to Bellotti case for the First Amendment and in 2010 The Supreme Court upheld that a corporations political speech was protected 😞 I firmly believe that corporations should NOT have the same rights as citizens.

Totally agree - you can say all you want about the quality of the prequels as films, or as being weird in terms of their politics, but they expanded the world of Star Wars in very interesting ways that felt like they made sense. The prequels have a lot of great moments and I wish they could’ve been paced a little better or stripped out some weird elements (like anakin as a child - kind of pointless) and focused on the stuff which made the revenge of the sith good

I think what the KZreadr disparu said makes sense. They don’t feel good because they are making good shows and movies, it because they enjoy watching fans getting mad at the things they like getting destroyed.

I'm just glad they cant take episode 3 from me, that anakin, will always be my favorite, the fights, everything in that movie is amazing and timeless. Fuck kathleen, leslie, and everyone of them for destroying what could have been an amazing restart/ continuation of my childhood franchise. Anakin is the true chosen one, padme and leia are badass and all SIX episodes movies is the true star wars!

I'd hardly say they're cashing in. One of the primary rules of business is keep your customers happy, so they come back and spend more money. Disney is driving its customers away by the bus load with this continuous IP destruction. No-one will buy a shitty product, even if you label it as sugar.

Star Wars was over for me after Episode 3. I haven't watched any of the garbage that's been produced since. Some writers and creators are irreplaceable. In the context of Star Wars, George Lucas is irreplaceable. So, I realized that the reason for new Star Wars films was solely about money, and not to add to the storyline.

The Knights of the Old Republic comic series (by Dark Horse, from back in the early 2000s) did a much better job at making a group of Jedi antagonists. None of them were "villains" the way Adasca or Demagol was, just blind to their own faults and flaws (which might as well sum up current Disney with the knob breaking itself trying to pass the maximum twenty times).

$180m spent and people leaving in droves. No way to recoup that money. Just who do they think will be paying to watch this garbage? Back in the day Disney was a respected brand. Every family with kids wanted to go to Disneyland. Now it's a joke, run by ideologues without an iota of business acumen between them. Disney will now only be remembered as the place where IP's went to die. Such a shame.

They all exist within an entire universe, and they all have influence not only on themselves but each other. It is simple for me. From Disney onwards Star wars does not exist for me. I will not buy any form of Star Wars media or merch until all this sh... is totally cancelled

As a fellow Star wars fan it really depresses me inside to see how far this company has fallen in the franchise almost a year ago I remove my Disney plus because I could see where this was going and even my 9-year-old son has removed all of his Star wars posters and removed his LEGO Star wars figures because he feels that to be a man in Star wars is to be unwanted which makes me very upset these people don't understand what they're doing to their younger consumer

I loved Star Wars. Played all the games and went to Disney every year with my entire family and grandchildren. I would spend about 20k or more a year. It was a time that the entire family could get together once a year. When Disney started their trash, what they did to Luke made me sick. I stopped all Star Wars and Disney ever since. I will never watch any Star Wars; support Disney is anyway. I will wait until Elon Musk buys it, then I will support them again. Until they have a new owner, they will never get a dime from me, my family or all of my friends!

Darth Vader is not only a legacy character but one of the "the Sci Fi" villains! His popularity was so huge he was a guest character in Soul Calibur 4 (PS3) I know that doesn't sound much but that basically shows how well known Darth Vader is, and Disney doing this is a basically a sin!
