You'd be just as bad at it, apparently. That's a Cadillac from the '30s, it's a 3-speed stick shift without gear locations printed on the knob. The shift patterns were wonky back then, too. It's extremely impressive that he managed to pull away at all, let alone find a gear.

in charlie x he freezes spock and kirk for a moment and spock blinks while they are supposed to be still and kirk blinks here. i know they didnt have a ton of film for loads of takes but part of me thinks they were just goofing around and messing the takes up on purpose.
there are SO SO SO many moments just like this in TOS, it's an insane show and i love it

That one scene makes me laugh....Spock: "Spores?" (Flower proceeds to shotgun him in the face)
No "I'M CAPTIAN KIRK!!" or Abraham Lincoln with a spear in his back? I'm disappointed.
I decided to look up 'star trek without context'- best. decision. ever.
I don't know why 1:51 hit me as hard as it did. The way Spock just sits there smiling at Kirk, and Kirk's just looking at him like: "What?" Edit I think the music playing in the background helped it a bit lol.

It's the opposite of almost any other interaction, maybe? Spock acting silly with a questioning look & Kirk acting straight-man with a more logical look I like how it goes from silly Spock in a tree to evil Spock pointing a gun & Kirk has basically the same expression for both lol

This show has hours of potential for out of context moments.
2:41 no context needed
The problem with most OOC videos out there is that too much context is provided. This is one of the very few videos in the genre that actually succeeds in doing its job and keeps the context as far away as possible in the most nonsensical and entertaining ways possible.
