Lnar is the other anti-kling officer. Tomalak just brings it to 2 per faction. Lnar and Ynagh are frequently overlooked since they are uncommon but officer ability numbers are the same. You just loose some stats using UC in stead of rare Mirek, Krell - anti-fed Yuki, Yanagh - anti-rom Lnar, Tomalak - anti-kling

By the Way, a little thing that most Players didn't know about the Augur the obliterator kinetic Attack has only a base critical chance of 3% (instead of 10%) And a base Critical damage of 110% (instead of 150%) This does not make the Augur a bad ships this only shows how important Officers like Khan or Honorguard Worf for this ships is. Also *"Prime Critical Chance"* & *"Prime Critical Damage"* (available for OPS45 players) is a huge Upgrade for ships like the Augur

Good work. I am shocked at the Kelvin battle. The first TOS battle wasn’t that impressive but seeing it loaded out properly and still falling short was like wow.

Very interesting video. The Augur has the most shots per round so the anti faction officers have the highest impact. This makes it do so much damage.

I’ve talked to a fair share of other interceptor lovers and they also like the Lorca (Capt) and HG Worf and Capt Tilly. No content creator touches this set up.

Really interesting video, I would say the first few were crew related (you had anti triangle AND anti faction against more generic crews, that's always going to win), however the wins against maxed Yuki crews were a suprise. Do you also have a maxed Enterprise and D4? Would love a stats comparison (HHP, DPR etc) and a test on how many sol traders you can kill with each G3 Epic using PMC

I’m working on an enterprise video actually. Same type of testing hitting up against kelvin and a valdore. I don’t have a maxed d4 though never bothered to build one since I had an ent and augur. I’ll have to borrow someone’s to do videos

Interesting video, but you have a massive advantage vs a significantly lower level player because of research. Can't say even when running the same crews I can replicate the results vs players of the same level as me (42).

Just wondering did you guys consider flipping positions and having him run the augers? Just to see how research played into the battle. Would be interesting side by side. Again good work with these

Yes it would be good to do that but I don’t think reaper has a maxed augur. We are somewhat limited by the ships everybody has. Research is definitely a big part, but my statement here is as apple to apple I can make it because I did do a series with the enterprise against reaper and my ent did not fair as well. Note that my explorer research is better than my battleship research since all my high power ships are explorers.

It seems like the D4 and Auger are the same in the aspect of: if you focus on the abilities in PvP, you underperform/lose. Crewing them outside their "specialties" seems to come out with the best results

Actually I think the d4 it’s worth it to go with breach. The dmg done was significantly higher.

Wondering if you would have beaten reaper if reaper used tos uhura as captain to null your crit. Also reapers ops research gap gives you quite an advantage in base crit chance, crit damage, mitigation, etc. Curious as to what the difference those stats make.

Yes not sure on the tos setup. Maybe test that one a bit later and see. Research does play a role but the claim I’m making is because I also did some testing with an enterprise. That video is forthcoming.

love your videos so far but i listen a a bad sound from the recording maybe cause of mic or settings and it is really anooying.

Isn t the biggest problem that Enterprise or in the g3 uc bracket the sally -> they can run a generic setup and beat their counterparts unless the counterpart specificly crewed for the enterprise/sally ?

Yes you are correct. However the augur crewed against an ent is a viable proposition since there are so many out there. It would work against explorers in general too.

I would say the Centurian is much closer now with TOS Kirk, I think TOS Kirk, Spock and Zhou would beat a generic sally

Alright stats for enterprise, in docks, ship stats maxed but officers slots lower deck not maxed out since I already hit the ship stat max point. The crew is kind of random, have an alternate hostile grinding crew on which I was using for faction hunt on the korinar. DPR - 1M Shield Pen - 26k Accuracy - 334k Armor Pierce - 24k Shield Deflection - 220,994 Armor - 8,468 Dodge - 7,438 Shield health - 5M Hull health - 4M

Now exact same crew, augur, in dock: DPR - 1M Shield pen - 308k Accuracy - 19k Armor Pierce - 23k Shield deflection - 6,660 Armor - 226k Dodge - 7,611 Shield health - 4M Hull health 4M

Note that there’s a lot of rounding to see the details. Especially when you get into the millions. For scopley 1M can be 1,000,000 or 1,999,999 I believe. I don’t think they round up ever. Always rounds down.

@@gp8231 yeah they are really close. Same thing with the d4 actually. What scopley did with their rock paper scissor model was really in regards to the attack values and mitigation values and not just shield and hull health.

Do you have the new Strike officer? I think it will make the Augur more OP, won't it?

Yes you are correct. Haven’t had time to do videos lately (was on vacation), but the new strike team officers are giving battleships a very big advantage over everybody at the moment. That said I think scopley is trying to strengthen the triangle so be on the watchout for explorer and interceptor specific officers in the coming months too.

How much does Augur preform in low OP lvl with lower research! How much does research effect your damage! Maybe you should work with rev deuce if your crewing also work his lvl he is only op 41 now! Can you do a video about Valdore why is valdore the best uncommon g4 ship!

Everything tiers. I acknowledge my research and ops level bonuses have a lot to do with the performance. However, when you're comparing ships you need to see how, in a future video, my enterprise performs vs the same candidate. Working on that now!

Is the 5 ops levels worth of research not a significant consideration in these tests?

No not really much of an effect on g3 ships. Big difference on g4+

12:52 Mara is unfortunately useless for PvP, because she only reduces by base Dodge, she ignores research. A year ago calculated that her 40% Dodge reduction in PvP is actually below 5% per round depending on your opponent And there is a weird Bug that never got fixed - she can not activate in Round 1 and because Kang hull breach only lasts 2 rounds instead of 3 you get only a single effect from Mara

@@davidgonzales82 i still like her ability - because of her i found out that the Defense Stats can get negative ... against a NPC you can create a MINUS 10.000 Dodge (or more dodge) and this revelation gave me the solution how Khan's Captain Maneuver has to work - because when "ruthless mastermind" is active Defense mitigation can drop below 1%

Base dodge reduction is indeed pretty bad. I'll have to keep that in mind and never use her, especially now that I've discovered the forgotten L'Nar, haha.

@@zscorner88 for the common Player not much, but because i invested so much time in mitigation calculation and found someone who Programmed a mitigation calculator we thought there would be a fixed minimum and maximum mitigation Combat ships = 16.16% to 71.2% Freighters and Armadas = 15.24% up to 65.7% But the MIN value can actually drop further than that... Until recently there was another PvP Klingon with a captain Maneuver that was able to lower mitigation to ZERO His Name is Qa'ug, but he got fixed and now he is worth less again Each time the ability got activated he reduced ALL three Defense values instead of crew Attack, Crew Defense and Crew Health

No one checks the difference between the players lvl inclu. Research’s officer lvls exo damage boosts etc . Seen the battle log doesn’t mean it all.

We did not put exos on for these tests. Research does make a big difference, however I am making these claims from what I could see on ent vs kelvin against the same player. That video is forthcoming!

You do realize that the first screenshot of what you're showing doesn't have a burning crew member on the Auger.....I run a Hull Breach Burning and Critical crew ....on mine... Captain Gorkon hull breach....HG Worf critical .... And Gio Burning......yuki needed Marcus admiral .... And a honor guard Worf on the Kelvin.. never discount the fact that the other ship is not Max

Yes I realize we don’t have burning on the augur - the point in this video is to say you do not need, and should actually avoid trying to proc burning on the augur. For the kelvin crewing, marcus would be the wrong choice here on a kelvin since he counters explorers. Charvanek is the correct counter officer against battleships. Yuki is there not only for shield strip but also for her officer ability which is increased damage against romulan ships.

Then you're not crewing your D4 very well. 5(c), Gorkon, Khan with health stacked underneath Lorca (c), Killy, HG Worf Lorca (c), Killy, Khan Are excellent all around crews. I haven't lost to an augur in months.

Kelvin has 1 energy wep. Kirk wasted here. Your ship set up is perfect for INT, his is bad general purpose.

You are correct I always allow the testers to use their own setup at first. If you keep watching you see that I can still defeat an anti romulan battleship crew (yuki, char hg worf)
