Chim Chim's Suga Kookies I think during lotto promotions kai was injured so he couldn’t participate so that’s why in all their performances it’s Lay performing and if Lay wasn’t there kai took his place. And as for Lay when he was a trainee he used to tie the sandbags around his waist to become a better dancer but it eventually damaged his waist permanently and occasionally that pain comes back and in this performance u can see that he started crouching and touching his waist and u can tell he was in extreme pain ( but he still aced his performance) and when sehun and chanyeol help lay to jump up for his part u can tell that they noticed and that’s why they didn’t push him up really hard and that’s why lay didn’t really jump for his part.

They should know people aren't robots. They need rest and time to heal. And fans are happy to let them have vacations and proper rest. SM needs to get a clue. Even if Lay said he would do it, they should have nixed the dancing (he could have just done the interview, which was cute and he looked fabulous. I should look that good when I'm in pain, shoot.)

Being a trainee means you are in constant competition with others for fame. He wanted to prove his hard work and dedication. The sandbag benefited him but now he has chronic waste and back pain

What do you mean "they let him perform"? It's LAY that wants to perform on stage after working his butt off with exo for this, and someone as hardworking as him would never even consider sitting out, especially with kai being gone too. Sure I think lay should rest, along with exo, but I don't think they want to waste their months of preparation and the hundreds of thousands of dollars that go into making the stages. Why are you blaming SM?

I kept my eye on Lay because of the comments. You could clearly see he was holding his stomach at times. Please let him have rest. Weeks or mouths, I don't care. Just give him rest. 😥

Kai at the time injured his leg and didn't participate in lotto promotions that's why lay was covering for him. And lay has suffered pain on his waist ever since predebut and it returns sometimes, During the lotto promotions exo's schedule was so hectic he had to keep dancing all the time and that's why the pain appeared again.

약간 무심한 표정으로 손가락 허공에 휘저으면서 무릎 꿇는 거 레게노 뒤에 오세훈도 완벽해 여기가 천국이야....

Honestly, none of the members even seem to be having fun on stage anymore. Usually, they'd be smiling or smirking at the camera every once and a while, but you can tell that this performance took a lot of effort to do, considering their condition. Like, Sehun even gave up on lip-syncing, and Lay can barely do some of the moves. (i'm aware this was a month ago, but that doesn't really help much, does it?) How about waiting until all the members are fully rested and in proper condition, instead of forcing them to do this half-assed stage that gives off the impression that they're not even trying? Even though everyone seems to be struggling at some point, you can still tell they're doing their best. I would much rather wait a few weeks (or months, even) and see them be able to perform at their best, why must you make everything happen now? It's not a race, EXO's done enough this year.

Sundine Sundine as a fan of lay, we all know how he is doesn't want to let us(his fans) down. This was filmed last month so who knows this could've been the last performance of lotto. And None of knows what goes behind the scene so judging SM is a bit harsh. There are harsher conditions out there and we should be grateful that lay isn't unbearably hurt.

I agree but this injury can inflame any time and we honestly can't do anything about it :/. And Kais situation is a bit different, he could possibly ruin his foot if he continued dancing on the injury and Lays hip is something that will continue to happen again

UPDATE. Lay isn't hurt. Not right now at least. He got better. It's NOT SM FAULT FOR NOT WANTING TO KILL HIM. If Lay were to undergo surgery he would undergo a LARGE risk of dying.
