That was the first ship that I sailed on back in 2008. It was a wonderful ship. So sad to see that they sold it off and demolished it. Completely heart broken. Such a shame.

Ohh okay This ship was one of the best
4:58 also that is a different ship, the Pisces was as the other end. but that one is also now gone. hope you had a happy time on her as i will also miss her. the ship was not even 30 years old.

Fond memories from the ship that was my favourite on the Turku- Stockholm service.
Heartbreaking 💔 I was sailing on her (kalypso) in 93 with my parents 😞

@@mixesmiranda6750 Hey, You can visit the ship but you need to take permission from the plot owner. Sry, i won't be able to help you as i don't have any direct contact to the owner.
A family outing for a ship scrapper?
Luxurious?!?! I hated being a deck officer on her, it was my career start though. Hong Kong based Third Officer (Jr, but Genting paid all TOs the same) on that floating casino/brothel. Genting refused to spend any money on her, the food was awful, accommodation for everyone terrible BUT they did spend money on a fancy exterior paint job. We never got properly audited on lifeboat drills, I suspect due someone being paid off because the davits and winches were all half seized. Typical Lim Kok Thay shitshow. BUT I got my sea time up and got the hell out of there on her so thanks Pisces.

Worked on her bridge for 18 months, fucking FAR from luxurious! She was a floating casino/brothel.
