Well, to be fair, if the villain says "NOW YOU WILL SEE AT MY TRUE POTENTIAL", it's not like that means anything until he demonstrates it.

Even with his limitler off Claude said: Oh it's just them, That made me laugh so hard, knowing how much of a pain this boss was.

WHen I first got to this point in the game, I had chills going gown my back... Then... I lasted 5 seconds, and shat myself. All my guys were level 125 or something like that .Came back after the cave of trials... and survived 15 seconds. lol

That's why 4x bloody armor users are a must even at lv 255 that will still happen and Opera MUST be 1 of them.

Opera was the star of my Limiter Off Indalecio fight as well. @ on One makes this cake walk.

I always thought that angel that came down above him was to help him when I was a kid and now it makes me happy to know that she was on my side. On the other hand it's a much sadder story because of the way you did things what kind of father uses his own daughter to gain power and in fact it looks like at 4:08 he uses her as an attack.

+ganbare731 Hum, In japan the score on tests are evaluate with a maximum of 100 points, no ? Claude means the fight is 80/100 points. We can consider it's an equivalent of B+ (or A)

Claude has balls the size of grapefruits in this fight

Only reason they didn't die was that skill you can level that gives a chance it will keep you from dying with I HP

So, I know this game didn't exactly have the best english voice direction. (Dont know who the Voice Director was) But, c'mon, I mean at the very end of the battle, Indalecio says, "Thank you for stopping me, no need to put the light out yet", which completely contradicts his character and what he says after the battle. Maybe Im just being a nerd, but I always find instances like that in games very intriguing.

Nathan McCammon Indalecio wasn't himself anymore after he had killed his other half "Docter Lantis" (Gabriel). When you defeat him and he says that quote he realizes that all he had done was for nought. Dr Lantis was back for a quick second and then he reverted back to his old self. He died as the monster he created himself. Idk if this is correct but this is how i saw it. It would be more fitting if he only said his other quote: "Are you telling me that the humans have destroyed me?, then what is the significance of my existence?".

This is correct he wanted to give humanity a second chance if possible but at the same time only if certain requirements were meet.

I really want this final boss music to be in an anime.

Even at level 255, Earthquake can still destroy your entire party. What a final boss it is, right Claude ?

Correct AND ONLY Bloody armors will make it do 0 damage NOTHING ELSE will the PSP version replaced that spell with STONE RAIN only to still have IT do 9999 damage at lv 255 on EARTH mode as well.

I feel sorry for the people who accidentally did the PE:s for removing the limiter without realizing it. They are so minor in the grand scheme of things, but with dire consequences, haha. One of my favorite RPG:s of all time, with close to infinite replayability.

it is possible. Bowman with exploding pills , claude with his mirror cut blade, dias with illusion and rena for the buffs. You just keep smashing one button for straight 3 minutes but this will stunlock the boss entirely. The only downside is that you have to start with renas story at the start to get dias as a character.

I know this is 2 years old but the reveal of the second story remake made me come here. I accidently removed the limiter but my strategy was mirror slice and head splitter with claude that was the only way I could survive earthquake was to do headsplitter and be in the air when he did it, it would miss claude entirely. Revive the other members and continue to attack I ended up winning around level 90 but it was very difficult. When I see videos of him moving so slow I use to think why is he not moving as fast as he did on my game. I knew nothing about the limiter.

Brings back the best memories! This theme is iconic! and so is its arranged version! Motoi Sakuraba is king!

The final boss has two forms. If you don't do two specific PAs in Clik and Central City, then he'll be on par with your party. If you turn his limiter off however, then he'll be almost impossible until you go through the postgame dungeon.

But if your short of level (not necessary max level)and items, this will be a long battle. Iseria(gabriel) is one hell of a secret boss even you reached max level and post cave of trials.

Even at lv 255 limiter OFF I didn't even last for 10 seconds on earth mode WITHOUT ANY bloody armor users and OPERA MUST be 1 of the Bloody armor users.

I've played this game twice..it is a classic.

I prefer to do this fight with only two characters using meelee attacks, otherwise the third and fourth character gets in the way while failing to attack and allows the boss to escape. With 2 fighters you just have to control the one who attacks the fastest (such as Ashton or Rena) then Unlimited Indalecio is gone in less than two minutes.

This ROM was way better than mine. My emulator wouldn't run the North American version for some reason so I had to resort to the European version.

God, I forgot how jarring interrupted animations are in early SO and Tales games.

This is still easily the hardest boss battle in my opinion. If you let him have just a second of reprieve -- he's going to kill you. Especially on universal without his limiter.

I found that if you beat him with only two characters alive and that those two characters had a fast attack animation, then the unlimited version of this boss can go down in under 30 seconds with the right equipment.

Great video. Made me decide to replay my old PS1 version of the game i've had since 2000, but my disc 2 gives me disc read errors right at level 2 of Fienal tower. :( Still, i'm replaying it again because it's just such a good game.

Play it on an emulator and download the savegame with 100% voice lines to play the universe mode right away!

With it off I had him open with a 9999 earthquake even on earth mode at level 255 hence I will only use 4x bloody armor users that means you can't use Rena at all and Precis can't even equip it which is the main reason I had Bowman join instead.

He has levantine. Cave of trials bro. This boss is nothing in comparison to the challenges.

Clay Ball is extremely effective in this fight.

I know I commented before on this vid, just wanted to say again how Indalecio is the most bad ass rpg villain of all time. I mean sure Sephiroth tried to destroy the world, but Indalecio almost destroyed the fucking universe. No other game villain is as awesome and...cool.

He is special. Final Boss + most hardest boss...any hardest villain only side boss/secret boss

All u need to do is equip Bloody Armor

I STILL Bloody armored Claude OPERA Chisato and Dias/Bowman EVERYONE ELSE STILL SUCKS.

Im on Lv 100 With Claude,Rena,Celine,Bowman,Leon and Noel I miss other characters but i did everything to beat the final boss in a different way spending almost a hour survive him on battle but in the end i couldn't survive...

How do you have 4 Angel Armbands? I only have two... from beating Cave of Trials and Iselia Queen. Love this game to death. How much harder is Limiter Off Indalecio than Iselia Queen?

Hey there starclassic21! As long as you have the silver trumpet and your musical talent skilled is maxed out at 10 you can summon the Iselia Queen on the world map as often as your heart desires. She frequently drops an Angel Armband upon defeat so you can get as many armbands as your heart desires! I hope this helps! And yes, Limiter Off Indalecio is much harder than the Iselia Queen!

In my experience, I beat cave of trials, and Iselia Queen without too many issues around level 150, and was devastated by Indalecio (limiter off)

omg TT^TT i hate ths boss sooooooooo much. i was an idiot and i have a crap team at lvl 105 (claude dias celine rena) and terrible stats and i keep getting my butt kicked after 20-30 minutes of fighting D: so hard core fail.... any suggestons how to fix my crap team? lol

It only took 50 hours to get to 255?

Experience card, Cave of trials level 7, 6 blue funny theifs. easy 600K points. Instant level up like 2 to 3 times per battle.

"Oh, it´s just they... " LOL But I agreed with Claude, when I reached Indelicio with his limiter off, my team was so overpowered; that he look´s like a joke compared with Iselia Queen. The guy barely managed to do some damage, He was completely massacred.

What was the difficulty level?

Earth Mode=Easy.Galaxy Mode=Normal and Universe=Hard!

For some reason, I remember this game being a lot different. For one, it was turn based.
