Fitting the ROC in the standard Freelancer was a pleasant surprise! I always gone with the Max for my ground mining operations but this will save some money. Not to mention the standard version is much more nimble and nice to fly.

Hey @gangalo68, My first ship that I started with in the game was the Arora and I quickly learned that I was limited with game play with that ship. So I looked at other ships that I could up grade and the MISC Freelander stuck out. I'm super happy to have chosen the freelancer. Next I'm going to upgrade the systems and weapons on the Freelancer and make it even better. Also I'm going to have to learn to mine! Any tips?

Nice video! The Freelancer DUR was my first ship, and still have it and the sister-ship MIS also. I just love the mix of industrial and high-tech that MISC makes their ship designs.

Hey @ericwollaston5654, Great choice for your first ship. Mine was the Aurora, then when I realized that it was not really a good ship to start with, I upgraded to the Freelancer. That's when I started to really enjoy the game and made ok money. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it to get into the game. Also after doping this video, it gave me a better appreciation for the ship and its capability. I agree with you on the look of the ship... It's a cross between looks, high-tech, and functionality. PS. I really love the look of stainless steel!!! lol. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@H0bby_Adventure I had the base Freelancer for several years until the DUR arrived. Nice ship with decent cargo in which having the ability to have 4 crew may mean much in the future. With engineering and all those new mechanics. But my cargo hauler in this class is my Spirit C1 now. Still have the other two Freelancers though, and really like them. They just need an upgrade pass REAL BAD.

Great job. Can't wait to see what missions you are going to do.

Hey @exponentialnegative1, Thanks for watching and dropping a comment. I started with the Arora (The Cheapest Ship) but quickly learnt that it was not worth the cheap price as it was limited in the game! I upgraded my game ship and purchased the Freelancer as my main ship (Used real money) and I was able to quickly grow in the game. This Freelancer I think is one of those "underdogs" that are easily over looked and dismissed. I'm going to start bunch of videos to show what kind of game play that can be done with this ship! The Freelancer in my opinion is "the" started ship to select!

Hey @bmc8246, I just recently purchased the Freelancer Max and was surprised on how wide it was. I would have to agree with you that the Freelancer Max is the best value. It would be a great starter ship. Thank you for your comment.

Imagine when the Connie Taurus was just $150 lol... For 174 scu of cargo, big boy guns and plenty of room to grow with a crew. THAT ship is the best value. But I do love me some MAX. It's the one ship that reminds me of a true semi truck.

Hey @solegs100, It's funny that you mentioned the Freelancer Max, as I just purchased it about 2 weeks ago and I am in the middle of doing a very similar video as this one. There's a lot more room like you said in the max, so there's a lot more possibility. Stay tuned for that video. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Freelancer is a great ship for one reason it shows you're not chasing the meta.

I should give it a re-try. I used to love the Freelancer, but then years ago, they screwed up the Max and it's ability to fly in atmo. Probably better now, just haven't tried it in years.

Hey @cw3372, I flew the Max the other day, and it was giving me a hard time! It was doing its own thing as I was trying to control it! I really like the Freelancer. It's going to be a good ship for single pilots as CIG starts rolling out the "engineering" portion of the game, and we're going to need a multi crew for the larger ships! The Freelancer will be one of those ships that a single play can fly and be ok to work on it alone. Knowing what can be put into it will also be a huge benefit. Thanks for watching and commenting.
