Star Citizen Soundtrack - ArcCorp Theme (Pedro Camacho)
Музыка
Music by Pedro Macedo Camacho
First time playing around with Adobe Premiere :)
The two initial notes are A and C (standing for ArcCorp)
The ascending intervals are these:
#1 - 3 semitones
#2 - 8 semitones (both members of the Fibonacci series )
#3 - 11 semitones = 3 + 8 !! the sum of the previous intervals!
This is to try mimic, in a melody, the perfection of this planet, fully built in such a mathematical way!

I love the fact that it feels hi-tech without the heavy rhythm of something more primitive. It feels digital rather than industrial. No steady beat of pistons and gears. It feels smooth and glassy. I like it a great deal!

Breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking. You can feel power and emotion in the music and when you pair that with playing the game you get a sense of scale and awe rarely if ever felt in gaming. This is a masterpiece

@@pedro.camacho I know this comment was years ago but I have to ask. The guitar piece that goes throughout. I can hear it playing in two different way depending on how I feel. Either the guitar sound is starting higher pitched and goes down or starts lower pitched and stays lower pitched. I have listened to this possible a hundred times and I always hear something new. Is there some sort of audio trick you are using here? Its really cool and I'm not sure I am listening to it this way. I play the game and I can hear it one way but when I sit here and just listen in my room I can hear the music in a completely different way. This is probably my favorite piece you have made.
the vocals in this give it the most out of the world feeling i have ever felt from a song before
Beautiful. I love the background voices that add a nice atmosphere layer to this cue.

It will, we must be strong and try not to worry. When I composed this I did this to remind us all how sometimes we need to stop and look at the beauty of our world. Maybe humanity will come out different than it was after this. Let's hope and dream! :)

@@pedro.camacho Yes i literally! hear where you are coming from with this track, you did an amazing job at doing that. Anyone who hasn't been allowed to leave their home because of isolation for two weeks for example, is going to understand the beauty of our world when they step outside their front door into the open & a gust of fresh air blows onto their face followed by the sound of birds clearly singing & an eerie but beautiful & refreshing silence in the air due to significantly less traffic on the road & skys. Humanity will learn so much from this pandemic (Earths OZONE layer has already improved for one) & alot!! More people i'm sure will appreciate their family & the smaller things in life we sometimes take for granted. I really hope you & your family are well pedro. Peace & strength to all!! Haha. Hong Kong. I live here. Wonderful piece once again, Maestro Pedro. Phenominal, and I get chills every time as I approach Area 18 for landing.
I wanted to comment on how you are pushing your interpretation of the song on me using the visuals, but then I realised its you Pedro who posted this. Shows how viewpoints on art differ even between the creator and listener. For me specifically I see the calm and serene moments as ones of a calm and peaceful city in harmony, not nature or space. I never heard anything as grandiose as that in your song. In all honesty, this is your best work yet and I listen to it more often than I would like to admit. Wish you the best.
Vote for Pedro as best composer.
That build-up at ArcCorp I literally will fly down just to hear it and then leave. It's such an immersive feeling of grandeur, and then those seemingly haunting voices make it feel so stunning.
I need to be frank here... I was very afraid that Star Citizen couldn't reach that musical inspiration/memory status that many memorable games achieve. But now I can assure that it will. You're really doing an outstanding job here, Mr. Camacho. Thank you very much for that. I was showing Star Citizen to a friend in ArcCorp and your track playing in background... It was mindblowing. Obrigado mais uma vez, Pedro.

Gabriel Barsali that is super kind of you ! Thank you sir :)
These themes are truely amazing. I really hope that the game (when/if it releases) will have us visit these places infrequently enough so that songs like this don't get too old. I want this tune to make me feel like I'm either discovering a new place, or coming home to a safe (or dangerous) harbor every time it queues up.
😍I'm very happy to backed Star Citizen. Even if we never get a Game. Without Star Citizen, Pedro would never created this masterpiece of art .
Uploaded by Pedro himself !!! This track is, by far, the most beautiful in Star Citizen. GREAT JOB, LOVE IT and all your work
I sincerely hope you upload SC music more frequently on this channel. Amazing work!
Came here after your Star Citizen Live appearance. I was blown away by the amount of hidden layers in this theme, that i never heard or noticed before, and the thought you put into every single one of them. Genius.
I live in Hong Kong and tbh, been playing this game for 3 years now this background fits the music so well. You deserve a reward like seriously bro
It´s so marvellous...Pedro´s music combined with Star Citizen is amazing!!!
I love this piece, easily one of the best to come out of Star Citizen OST yet, good job Pedro. The way it trembles and the notes eerily ring, nicely contrast familiarity with unknown and give it a melancholic feeling. You can definitely feel religious undertones in there too as you stand in awe looking at the majestic arccorp skyscrapers, the same way a common man in the middle ages stood in awe looking at the great cathedrals of the day. Just fits Star citizen universe so good. There are many great games, many great soundtracks. But over the last few years, not many of those pieces really sticked in my mind for a long time. What you created Pedro Camacho are some epic, great pieces of music which I still will remember in 5, 10 years or longer. To create good music is a thing many composers are able to. But not many of them reach a level that you will always remember their work. Also I'm using this masterpiece to study math and other subjects as well :) -Yasoing,Borderkeeper,Nobel

I don't know if it was the intention but those operatic voices you've folded into the music brings a ''divine'' quality to it (in my opinion). This music to me represents the power of humanity in this fictional universe, they are masters of many planets and are on their way to a state of near God level power.

Also. I'm not a technical guy but some of the sounds in this song sound so distant. It gives you that huge, massive sense of scale. The player gets such a good feeling of the planet he is just approaching
Area 18 was my chosen spawn point of choice. Admittedly I thought of Area 51 from Perfect Dark, thinking I would be taking part in some desert moon experimental habitat, and I was not remotely disappointed to find a city more beautiful in detail than Night City. Then the music kicked in and I realized... ArcCorp will be my birth planet if I were raised in this universe. What a beautiful melody. Such a beautiful planet, especially from orbit.
Hello, Pedro! I recently watched your Star Citizen Live episode and wanted to listen to this track from start to finish after hearing your description of the mathematical process involved in creating this particular score. I have to say, it is absolutely beautiful how you managed to give so much personality and uniqueness to this piece; while still capturing the essence of a planet that is also a marvel of human engineering. I think that this game is a few years from release, but I have no doubt thanks to you and the wonderful people you work, with it will sound majestic.
What a beauty. Thanks for sharing Pedro.
The complexity and depth in your ambiances is amazing, keep up the great work Pedro! :D
As you slowly lift up out of your hangar and into the dusky sky above Area18, or even better as you glide across the rooftops of the sky scrapers, perhaps picking one to gently land on to admire the view as the sun sets on the horizon, this sublimely haunting piece of music is the perfect accompaniment. I love movie scores and honestly tracks like this are right up there with some of my absolute favourites. The beauty of the music more than matches the ambition and scale of the Star Citizen project and I just can't get enough of listening to it. Thankyou.
Chills every times I go to Area18

I create music as a necessity just like we have to breathe. I couldn't think about my life without music. The only "small" projects that exist are the ones without a heart, without a soul without a real purpose to you as a person. Star Citizen is a dream from Chris Roberts, which I also share. It is a big project because it was created as a personal dream, as a lifetime desire to build something that makes a difference for his life. Big has nothing to do with financial success. I am pretty sure somewhere in mywebsite you have some info :)
