Some larger orgs have some of everything. The org I’m in has optional squadrons that are smaller and more hardcore, but we’ve got loads of casual players as well. What I’m trying to say is that some orgs are more flexible. Definitely don’t feel like you need to stay in the first org you join. If the org culture isn’t for you, find another one.

Im hoping they revisit the org system in the future. With over 86,000 orgs, half of which are 1 person orgs and are inactive, i think it makes sense to limit orgs or make member number requirements, this would get rid of at least 85,000 orgs and overall up the quality of the orgs that remain.

I feel like there should be an Org ranking system or something that can help people determine what Org is best for them. I personally have my own org that was solo from 2018 when i first bought the game, until recently when my buddies got the game and now we are 5 people strong lol. Its really a group for my personal friends and chill people we meet in game in across the "clan" servers im in and such.

I'm not good at recruitment for my org, so I have put it on my friend, right now we aren't full on recruiting but are accepting new members but we are currently only a 2 member org, I am looking to get better at recruitment though.

Good video @STLYoungblood. Just to reiterate, as you mentioned, to not trust the RSI org search engine. It’s ridiculously basic. It only checks for matching BEGINNING of word for both the org full name and handle; not within. Because my org name and handle don’t begin with “mining”, even though the word “mining” is part of the name, if you search for “mining” my org will not show up. Pretty lame programming imo. But hey, that’s what it is.

the engagement part is the hard part to do, i follow 3 larges orgs and none of them do anything

Over the years the alpha makes it quite challenging to keep members around, players get burnout, we usually most active during every quarterly patche drop, more stable patches usually results in more active players

Two problems with the spectrum org page. 1, the same couple of orgs spam the board with the same org ad over and over, makes it hard to go through them and find a good fit, when you scroll through and see the same 3 orgs over and over. 2, I for example will NEVER use discord again. Would be nice to have this as a search option. Even though I have said I will not use discord on my LFO post, I get spammed with messages to discord channels. So yea still looking for an org. No discord, no RPG, just causal group hanging out and having fun when you can.

Ok. Figure this one out. I'm homeless. I live in the woods. In real story life. I have 1500watts of solar. I have to manage my gameplay, meaning my connection is more stable than ever before. I just don't want to let anyone down. Over a year of playing, I no longer pay for gun's or utilities. I loot like a pro server jumping. I have fun armor, ammo guns, utilities and even sustenance on every planet in the Stanton System, including orbital space station's, such as every single one of them. Like most boobies, I started out on New Babbage. Then I went to Area 18, then (to with a new patch) I went to Lorville an then Orison and now I can't remember. I set my new Regen point to where I need it.

Can i join the discord if I’m not in the org i want to get the game but I'm waiting to get it with my new computer so i can stably play the game?

I have basically lost all motivation to run solo in star citizen. I basically only have fun in teams either memeing around casual rp racing with comms up and trash talking like it's Mario kart and the rainbow road got serious
