That’s the thing, there’s a lot wrong with SC right now, but it’s getting better every patch and it’s the only truly ambitious game we have going on

my biggest problem is how long should we have to expect to wait for it to not be "a lot wrong" with a game 10+ years into dev with MILLIONS and millions of dollars fed into it by greedy business practices? :/ I'd love to recommend it to my homies, but I don't want them to dish out a ton of cash for another game that never gets done (Tarkov, e.g.)

@@EricTheSwede Personally, I take the long development time as a sign of integrity. No shortcuts, no rushing it out to meet shareholder deadlines like Cyberpunk. It will cook as long as it needs, and you can still get your $45 worth in the meantime.

Despite its flaws, bugs and painfully slow development Star Citizen is one of the best most ambitious games currently available and in development! ABSOLUTELY love it. Can't wait for 3.23.2 and 4.0!!!

The fact that bugs in this game come down to connection issues and mainly INV issues is AMAZING. The scale this game is, with the world it's in and it being persistent, the fact more bugs aren't there is amazing in of itself

Started playing this game again after years because of watching you play it klean, and I'm genuinely having such a tood time with it. Such a badass game even with all the problems that pop up

No mercy dude!!! keep your eye at the Elevator there, as they come out of the elevator! you have to move back and forth or else you are dead meat! Good show! ;-)

Why welcome to star citizen. Good to have ya. I don't recommend playing during free-flight events. Thats when servers are overloaded and everything crashes usually. It's a lot more smooth when such events are over.

@Klean, when you're using the new loot screen, be sure to click the other pieces of armor (blue icons on the far upper-right hand corner). You'll see symbols for legs, torso, arms, backpack, etc. Those are more opportunities to find some more loot. Enjoy the 'verse!

I miss when you couldn't walk into Ghex without seeing bodies shoved into the ceiling in a patchwork over the ASOPs.

the dragonfly hoverbike has space for boxes, youll need a bigger ship tho, just rent a constellation at a landing zone

If they had a back harness that could carry mission boxes, in lieu of a normal backpack, that would be sick too. Otherwise, getting a Nomad and putting a Cyclone in the back is good for these kinds of missions.

I joined like 3 years ago. Not long before that I was convinced they would lose the race against time. When you take too long creating something, too much outdated stuff will catch up with you and it becomes a vicious cycle where you end up updating more and more and creating new stuff less and less, but I am glad CIG proved me wrong.

I'm hoping the game succeeds but there's a lot of what needs to be done for some people and what needs to be done for others. this game is at a point of where it can go in completely opposite direction-wise for what it WILL be and that is what produces the negative responses. this could be an amazing survival shooter and it can be an immersive space flight simulator. the developers are trying to do both on a grand scale and even with the amount of support and developers it just might be too grand the scale for what they want it to be. so here's to seeing its release in 2050!

32gb RAM minimum, great CPU and GPU, installed on SSD, all properly set up, and then you still need to avoid bug and poorly performing stuff manually, and even then sometimes things just don't stop going wrong.

The AI is hardcore, just the servers always struggle, but if you give the AI a chance to do their thing you have to respect them.

Most of the things are serverperformance. Play in the night on 30 player server. And it feels like a new game.

Like you, I'm gonna wait for this game to get to a stable point. Just seems like a lot of annoying little problems that would drive me nuts. Looks promising and fun for sure though.

they should just replace all death animations with a simple rag doll, they already have the best ragdoll physics out of any game out there, they just don't use it lol

I actually like the death animations, some of them are funny. Most CoD players just want everything to move at 200 kmh and everything to be snappy and fast, but that's not really Star Citizen's thing, it's closer to gameplay style/pace as DayZ and Tarkov.

Everyone wants it neow but it’s a massive game and it will take many more years to mature. Funding is strong and it will get there but yeah making sausage is a messy business at times. It’s all about progress not completion right now. People want this game and will continue to back it until it’s done.

Lol @ comparing it to Fallout 76. The first game project ever by a new dev team, with an enormous scope, still in development while they are developing another similarly ambitious game in parallel, and it's STILL less buggy than the RELEASED game by an industry behemoth that has decades and dozens of games under their belt, and it isn't even doing anything special other than being Fallout. Just embarrassing...

"They need to stop making ships and fix the game" is exactly the kind of attitude most of the hate for the game, and for other things too, is based on. Why would someone with a qualification for...anything... talk like that? Like I agree the development progress has been way too slow all these years, for reasons some might be understanding of others might not, but...does the cashier at the local supermarket really think if their store is in financial trouble, the boss might come by and ask him to fix that? Or the guy working on certain car parts at an assembly line, does he think he could just as well be a car designer instead? Maybe people think to make something like a ship in a game you open the game engine and click the "create ship" button, or to fix a bug you click the "fix bug" button. 🤦

I do not think the game is in a good place. I have been playing the past few days and there are soo many server issues. At least you had some ground combat before it glitched and you died. It is normal for me to run past all the guards on an investigation then hear them shooting after I am out of site. But I don't think CIG is using the game as a Tech Demo rather then making it smooth for players.

PLEASE try out Elite Dangerous... it isnt perfect aswell but it feels waaay more complete and it is super immersive!

Itr just doesn't do it for me... Walking up my reclaimer is always special. I always think it not that big until under it. Then taking it away for some salvage and land it on a planet to sell the salvage.... See that thing towering above the outpost... Nah not a space game doing the same for me.

I'd rather play SC than elite any day. But both games are very different so to each their own

very bad behaviour, to reload every 15 shots. It leaves you with some half mags in the end. try to empty those mags as much as possible.

Probably best playable and most time consuming tech demo i ever played then...And not because it was so smooth. I actually still enjoy the gameplay in this tech demo after 100s of hours. Well worth 50 euros.
