they already do and the particles system is being updated for exactly that , its going to have a windshield dust getting stuck to it from crafts and dust storms too

I would LOVE, I crave, deeper and longer runs in the canyons of Daymar. From above it's just some random patches of terrain but I have the feeling some planetray update will come in the future for this little one ;) You can still dive straight from OM 3 (towards the stash house) and find bigger patches of canyons ;)

Well, today we'd have finished game with their developed console, made special for this game (low cost, standard console with flying joystick with VR headset and Premium 4D cabin simulator for those with deeper pocket). And RSI would be the most funded game developer of all time.

Our crew try to get the best skill in term of group flight, low level flying and acrobatic flight, and Terada said to me he is really honored that a well ranked racer say that :) we got a little level on this, but in term of pure race, we still have a lot to learn, maybe we'll teach you our technics, and you too on the other side ;) Atthle-korr (fly safe)

This is the kind of video you'd have seen in the mid-2000's for games like Tribes and such. Players who love the game and are insanely good at it making cool videos with killer music. It brings me back to a simpler time. And has me looking forward to the future.

That's just decoupled mode. Atmospheric flight doesn't function, so decoupling will just make you go in a straight line, regardless of which direction your ship is facing. Just gotta keep an eye on the little marker that shows which direction you're going (making sure it's above the terrain you're flying over), then slap one stick to the side and let your ship spin around

I did not expect that level of quality from a random SC video click

The first 50 seconds of this video locked me in. This was one wild ride well done!

Nap of the earth flying will be a critical gameplay skill going forward with the introduction of the ballista and other Air Defense platforms. Well shot and scored. Tip my hat to ya.

To dig out my dusty French: C'est magnifique! Reminds me of those Welsh mach loops!

Still the best of these types of videos. The soundtrack, the different camera angles, the actual sounds of the ships/engines (so many videos like these, but nobody using ship sounds...). I keep coming back to this for inspiration on Star Citizen. Just need to find some new friends that actually want to learn the game.... lol

Personally I think ships should suffer from an even higher degree of gravitational pull and drag by atmospheric gasses. In fact, lots of ships should not be able to do any flight within the gravity well of lage bodies, like planets and large moons. I mean, why do some freighters have rotating main thrusters if they can pretty much hang within the atmosphere without any issues at all.

Main idea is to use the velocity direction indicator and use decoupled and... practice. That's the bit I still need to do :P
