40 years and a half now and Knight Rider still ROCKS !

Great job you two! BIG thanks to Athena, Brad, and the rest of your crew for such a FANtastic episode of STAR CARS! Daniel, myself, and my Dad may have produced Knight Rider Reunion but it is thanks to THE FANS it was a success. Each of you who came made a positive difference and helped raise money for sick children and their parents who need heroes to believe in for Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Every good wish.

KITT was my favorite car back in the day. The show was dubbed in Mandarin when it was aired in Taiwan around 1986/87. Michael Knight and KITT actually had real conversations. When I arrived in the U.S. in 1989, I actually asked my dad why didn't he get the other Pontiac(He had an old 2 door Pontiac Phoenix), meaning the Firebird. At the time, the used car for both models cost around $3K. Just imagine an international student driving a Firebird with two kids in the back seat.

Ron's right, KITT is a Trans Am, NOT a Ford...Fix or Repair Daily. LOL I was lucky enough to have a KITT when I was 3. =) ....the KITT pedal car that is, and on the sloped driveway at the other house I lived at, I used to do backward 180's in him, and flat out drove him like Michael Knight did. God, I miss them days! :( I won't ever forget it, Christmas morning 1984, seeing KITT parked near the Christmas tree, and I got in him and he started talking to me. As a kid, I almost cried I was so happy sitting in KITT. =) ...and when I saw the scanner light up up front, that was super awesome!!

35 years later and it is still the best show ever!!!!!!!!!!!

I really love knight rider when I was 12 I bought a firebird wanting to make it KITT. that was four years ago. Now I am really more focused on making the car more original but still with alot of knight rider features. I am atleast getting the front nose in the future and possible the whole damn thing later in my life. Or possibly buying another trans am already build into a replica. I really love this show and Kitt.

I like the Mustang, but Kitt to me is always a Pontiac Trans Am. I think also the new show overdid the transformation stuff, he should have just had "Super Pursuit Mode" and left it at that.

actually in 2008 there was a trans am. gm has had a prototype of a modern trans am for quite a long time, its basically a different body kit on a camaro

They could also use the 2002 Tram Am which still looks awesome in my opinion. I thought if the 2008 series would got a second season it would of been closer to the original series seeing how the starting getting closer to the feel of the original series near the end of the season.

82 Trans Am is the most beautiful.

One of my favorite tv super cars.but where's KITT's new body from Knight Rider 2000-the Knight 4000 love that car too. Herbie The Love Bug,the General Lee, The A-Team Van,etc..

On September 26th of Next Year, Knight Rider will be turning at 35 Years by celebrating of the all-time T.V. show's forthcoming 35th Anniversary Celebration. Alongside with Knight Rider most memorable moments and plus rare and unaired bloopers, deleted scenes and alternate outtakes of the all-time T.V. show not shown in over 30 years.

I always thought it would've been cool if Knight Rider met Airwolf. Imagine what would happen if the Airwolf got upgraded with Knight's technology and it was like KITT, only a helicopter and it was female.

Russell Summerton They sort of did that in one episode of Knight Rider - KITT was in an alternative-fuel race with an orange Charger that ran on moonshine. As I recall, one car jumped over the other.

Knight Rider 2008 wasnt that BAD like people make it to believe , people were too attached to the old school Knight Rider and didnt even give a chance to a new generation. I wish they would have done at least 1 or 2 more seasons

1982 Knight Rider = Epic series 2008 remake Knight Rider = Meh ('crappy') show. Doesn't matter how old the 1980's Pontiac Trans-Am would get, a classic car *IS* and will always remain a classic car. This is what the 1991 Knight Rider TV movie forgot to learn and what the 2008 remake series failed in utterly. sigh, such a pity the mid 1990's Team Knight Rider was forgotten here though, as that show was probably even better than the 2008 remake series.

They showed on American Chopper that there is a company that will put Trans Am shells on Camaro chassis. I'd love for them to "remake" KITT that way.

4:33 was THE biggest let down...I thought "oh wow I didnt know there was a Knight Rider remake show. Even for 1 season Ill watch it, because I LOVE the mustang v8s...only to find out its just a v6 disguised as one?! Reminds of back in the 90s when the 5.0 was the thing and people would put 5.0 emblems on their non 5.0 mustangs!
