    Stanley my paradise ..this was a special place,with special people,alas we now live in a time of great change,soon all our fields will be gone,and the spaces where we roamed as free human beings,will only be accessed by looking at videos like this ! Thanks for this compilation !

    Thanks for posting my parents lived in Beaumont street for 50yrs just about where the hay making next to St. Peter’s church is in the photo of the field,I lived there for 15 yrs.

    Living on rooks nest road meant the ACRES was my back garden.....blue bell woods....the grey slate hills...nature reserve and if you were not scared to go in HATFIELD HALL.....all of my childhood in the ACRES with my BMX or yz80.....
