I'm truly thankful for this gift and I'm happy you like how it turned out. I only wish I had done the project sooner. I already know what I will be using the N⁰78 on first.

Nice job Ryan, the box, the plane and the edit were just spot on. When you picked up the can of red paint, I was like he better be joking! LOL. I can imagine the hours you have in this one, but worth it in the end.

Thank you, sir. Yes, the red paint was a bit of an inside joke between Vins Vintage Tools and I. We can't stand red, lol. I do believe that the almost 16 hours I spent on this was well worth it.

Red stripes .... it looks great, you out did it. We The Few ...say: OORAH!!

Thank you for checking out the video. I will say removing the hard edges and casting lines with the file mad a big difference in how it feels. I meant to mention that I should have cleaned the file markings up a bit as it took more coats of paint to fill them in than I was hoping. Good luck with your restoration. It would be cool to see what you do with it.

Very nice restoration. They are wonderful planes to use and they are very efficient to use when they are sharp. The box turned out great also.
