Wow Dave, listen to you every day but did not know you had a yt chan. I saw Stanley tonight at the BN and came home to look up more about him and found this. Stanley is a quasi genius and a helluva human being. He really put in a great performance tonight.

I have always liked Stanley's music but never realized just how intelligent he really is. This interview shows just how deep his thinking is about music and life in general.

David and Stanley, thank you so much for that interview and the infinite number of lessons in it. You took me from a down to earth interview to the end of outer space and back. You alson confirm some of my thought about music's properties and effects and add to it. Happy to know there are people like you with your perception and sensitivity, and the generosity to share it. Thank you both for enriching our lives with what you did and do, Emilio

Memorial Day (inside covid 2020) MR. Dave Lawrence, you did an outstanding interview with Stanley Jordan. Was familiar w/him, but now I feel like I got to know him a little bit. Autumn leaves at the end by Stanley Jordan was wonderful I liked that part about Miles Davis saying don’t play the 1,2, 3 thing that you hear Heavy stuff.

Dave Lawrence-- thanks for the reply 👍 To me, you are on the level of Dan Patrick, Bob Costa, Tom Snyder, Charlie Rose, Terri Gross. Really nice, upbeat, in-depth interview ( well, you are on NPR, so no accident) I’m a big Hendrix fan; not the top 40 hits, but the melodic ballads. And I’m very much interested in Hendrix’s Electric Church Music. I didn’t know Stanley Jordan knew about that stuff. Maybe because you guys were in Hawaii talking? And Hendrix played there too ? Anyhow, my request for you is to find other people that also know and can discuss the meaning of Jimi’s Electric Church Music Subscribed.
