My fatmax saw had some plastic in the holes at the end of the blades - after seeing your video I figured they weren't necessary and I could break them off. I also learned you can turn the long blade around to use the other end and how to insert the shorter blade. Now I can finally use my saw. Thanks for helping this handy "lady."

With the thin hacksaw blade, you’d get much better progress if you turned it so the teeth cut when you pull, not when you push. That also means you don’t risk bending the blade.
