Dang, technology has come so far. When I was injured 25 years ago, my standing frame wouldn't have been considered a wheelchair, rather just a frame that got me into a standing position. It was a pain to use, both figuratively and literally, because, as you found out, muscles tighten up to be chair-shaped rather quickly. Congrats on getting that.

Dawg, dude...nice to see you...I was wondering where you've been. Um, you might want to reconsider those tires...Kendas suck. You should be able to get an inch bigger...it will help when you stand and need to push the chair.

Do you still have this wheelchair? And do you still use it? We have been saving up to buy one but I am getting mixed reviews on if they are good or not.

Was this standing wheelchair covered by your insurance? I'm a T9 Incomplete Para and I wish I could be able get a standing wheelchair, that would totally change my life around my house. I live with my parents and after my spinal cord injury on May 20th, 2017 the Transitional Living Center that I was at did a home evaluation and both my parents said that they would keep things lower so I'd be able to reach stuff. They even said that they were going to clear the bottom shelf of the refrigerator for my things so I wouldn't need to stain to get stuff and I'd be able to get to things easier. To this day nothing has changed, the plates and cups are still up high, stuff that I put in the fridge ends up on the top shelf of the fridge so It is still difficult and a pain to try to get things that I need when I don't have anyone to help me. I feel like they don't understand how hard it is for my everyday to be able to get to things
