I like and use Geib shears. I do almost everything with my 10" curve geib titan entree and my curve 9.5" geib croc. The Titan Entree blocks in the groom well, the croc smooths out the groom. For straights I alternate between my geib gators, kenchii loves, and aussie dogs. All around 8" or 9" shears. =)

how do you get flees out of a coat like that i picked up a farm poodle he is 10 weeks now i had to shave him to the skin because he was infested poor thing there has got to be a better way ?

Flea shampoo and dawn is what you should of done then a great conditioner

Nexgard is my preference if I'm having an issue. Capstar if I go to a show and suspect fleas in the area.

Being disqualified for a wrong haircut is very much against the breed standard, so I hope this is just old information or maybe only for american kennel club? FCI standard litterally says: "Addition to standard, Judging a Poodle in a show does not mean it is judged in a grooming contest. It is not encouraged to stimulate overgrooming one’s dog" Very nice groom though, but it makes me sad how many time you use the word disqualified 😕

In AKC anything but a breed standard trim with certain features is disqualifying. It’s not sad, just part of showing a poodle in our venue. I love that our breed club has stuck to the historic trims.
