Obesere taught all of them how to sing "shaje" (slangs) because he brought it to Fuji music, and he also opened the doors of international exposure to all of them. Pasuma & Co know all these facts. Really I love papa since day one He is one of my favourite among Fuji musicians but the truth need to be told Obesere was a good musician before he started singing abusing music until he deviate. Lately obesere unlike before is not really there as in talk of hot Fuji artists and it’s only when he sing to tackle his major target which is K1.l as a person I know papa for saje and asakasa music let him keep doing what we love him to and let go of all sort of Orin eebu. My advise though cos I still love him but I prefer listen to his real music when he sings saje.

If I may ask you simple but the truth question DId pasuma, sefiu alao,malaika ,Taye currency or any other that are not singing abusing musics are slaves to anyone or to K1? So what’s the point ???

Obesere needs to change his way of music as soon as possible if he really want to have a good legacy musically. I believed he is in his middle 50s, all this type of songs has nothing to write home about. This was how people hailing the likes of Lakukulala, Ijo yoyo, Kasabubu etc of Gen Kollington Ayinla back then, kollington probably think he is competing with Late Dr Sikiru Ayinde but even after Mr Fuji demise, barrister albums is still playing all over the world day in day out while kollingtons songs are no where to be found anymore. Papa tosibe, I’ll be glad if you change your style of music before it’s far too late. ✌️

This is why hip pop guys are reigning; sing for party mood not for bedroom discussions. Obesere is highly talented. He can sing juju, maturity & asakasa. This one is asakasa fit for the season and any kind of party.

I have been following you, Abass since Introduction while in Orile Ignamu, Lagos. I remember many times I sneaked out of my mother's house to come to watch you at shows until my time at Ogunpoly. I would save my pocket-money to come to spray you with a bundle of ten naira notes at your shows. These continued till 1999 when I graduated from Ogun Poly and went for NYSC. I love your music. However, side 2 of this album is rather unnecessary. It is too direct and unprofessional. Fighting dirty on the album will leave everyone wounded forever and transgenerational. Not casting aspersions to anyone, not even to the Mayegun, but we need to thread with cautions. I have listened and analysed every lyrical statement of the album, word by word, line by line. It leaves me with my opinion that, you have sung unprofessionally and characterised by degradable and derogatory utterances. This album and the content of about twenty (20) minutes can be sued for defamation of character, as it is direct, targetted and consequentially confrontational without the burden of verifiable proof. For the above-elucidated reasons and many more, this album is 3/10 for me.
