Tbf depending on how long they had been working together, they may have had a rapport and that was the publisher's tongue-in-cheek way of saying "I was wrong, my bad." However, that seems to line up with many portrayals of publishers/producers I've seen in media and I don't think they would write those types of characteristics in if they weren't somewhat realistic

Yeah by far batman is the most popular just numbers wise. I do think they are both very popular for kind of similar reasons. That mean is a human in UHD c. World that is frankly full of gods. Income tattoo top with human ingenuity so he's relatible when that sense. And spider man is related to in a more emotional sense, Because he is in a perpetual state of puberty and we all remember how that feels. I have theories on why Superman sells as much as he does. But all of them seem too deep and philosophical when maybe it just really boils down to people like baby face good guys when I really think of what'd more likely.

You literally have video from 2000s to 2020s which superhero was the most popular, Spiderman was probably 70% on top, Batman was 25% and all others were like 5% only for very short period of time. Spiderman is the most popular superhero ever, but Batman is the only one who comes close to him.

What a great person. I feel myself so lucky to find a chance to read his characters and their stories despite i live in Turkey. There is so much i learned from you Stan. Rest In Peace…
