I dunno, I watched the fight on fight night, I watched this video twice too, I think Alma should have gotten the W. Stamp gassed out the latter rounds, Alma should have capitalized it. But it was a very close fight, but I'm giving this one to Alma Juniku. One should issue a rematch.

Although Alma threw hands very well, Stamp threw hands about as well. However, I think Stamp landed a lot more kicks and knees and that is what won it for her.

I agree. I actually watched it again to see if judges scored fair for a unanimous decision. I carefully watched both fighters every move. It really is Stamp's night. Although Alma is good too.

Easy to see that Stamp outscored her (landed more of her shots, scoring knees while in the clinch rather than just defending). Alma blew me away, she was definitely the aggressor but that doesn't win fights. She's pushed stamp all the way and is very deserving of a rematch! It was extremely close and I was shocked that it was a unanimous decision.

Alma Juniku...what a legend.That was a seriously tough fight. Proud of that Australian girl.

Not being able to call a fight a draw or the addition of 1 extra round really fucks things up in close fights like this.Champion got cornered most of the fight,they went shot for shot but still wins by UD. You really can't leave it to the judges.

He didn't call a corner. It's a strategy to make the enemy walk in to get hit by the weapon.

Don't know what you guys were watching but Stamp Fairtex connected more hits from the 1st round till the 3rd round. Look at the amount of counters she put back to Alma. Its true she got gassed out at the 4th round but she switched to boxing style in the 5th round and connected more hits than Alma. No doubt this was probably the toughest fight of Stamp's career. It was a very narrow victory but overall it is really stamp's victory.

They don't understand that in every Alma's attack, Stamp counters too and even a stronger one. Alma didn't even land her spinning elbow attack on Stamp, but Stamp in return kicks her a lot of times. These people!!!

fairfax won the first two rounds by kicking, won every clinch by knees and by controlling juniju's body and bending her over

great fighting skills and great stamina from Alma! I loved how her guard blocked her first head-kick without having to move! She was ready for that knockout attempt!. First time I see her, and I can't believe she was so energetic through the whole fight. I don't do muay thai, but its high guard doesn't seem very effective versus straight punches, on both fighters. I'm all sold out on mma style, training it myself, so I look forward to Stamp's move to mma. I think Stamp changed her style to MMA at the end of the 3rd round when she was getting tired, and she landed more, dodged more, and saved energy. Just a nerd's opinion. Also, Alma is gorgeous 😍

Really want to see Juniku in the UFC. She's still so young and has alot of potential.

@@AydenLeongTV Sorry man, but most of Almas punches missed while Stamp landed most her counter punches. Stamp also threw and landed more kicks. Alma turned her back in most clinches which is points against her. Stamp walked backward, made Alma rush forward, slip punch and land the counter. Walking into counters doesn't win the fight.

well you can't win a Muay Thai fight just because your opponent is fatigued, Juniku would have won if she cornered Stamp and boxed her out until shes out cold...

Stamp is extremly fast and explosive what a great warrior martial arts are fit for woman so they are more flexible and fast.

I feel so bad for Alma, she most definitely won this fight.. You could see when they were announcing the winner at the end, Stamp wasn't really happy with this "victory".. It's so obvious when the judges are corrupt hey.. Lol Sweet

I'm not sure if the judges score style points mate. However, Stamp landed more clean shots at that last round than Alma. Very close fight.

My precious Alma is robbed!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Alma definitely was winner. Her moves, her speed, her technique... and such a misjudgment...

Unanimous decision means all judges are in agreement. It DOES NOT mean that Stamp won every round. Stamp DID win 4 out of 5 clearly though. Muay Thai isn't scored the way kickboxing is scored.

Stamp effectively countered Jinuku's attack particularly at the end rounds. Jinuku was doing well. Thought Stamp tired and so Jinuku attacked wrecklessly, and made her lose the fight

It was a close enough, that judging could have gone either way. But a challenger can't just edge out a champion, it needs to be more convincing. A rematch is definitely in order.

If you don't know who won, don't even watch this sport. Stamp clearly won her, scoring is not based on aggressiveness and don't land punches and kicks. It is staying clam and still able to land effectively and accurately.

Yep same here. I’m a great Stamp fan, love her skills, style and attitude, but even she was surprised to hear that result. Great fight, and now I’m a Juniku fan too.

It looked to me Alma’s points came mostly from jab and off-balancing stamp by catching her middle kick in early rounds, and there are occasional right punches scraping the face. But mostly no clean hits. Most of her kicks are defended. Stamp accumulated the points through middle kicks and low kick, some knee from clinching in later rounds, added with punches and elbows, also scraping mostly, but some look like clean hits, including stomach punches. For muaythai rule, I believe the win seems obvious. I guess Alma did sometimes look bigger and more powerful when she moves, and Stamp looked tired in later rounds, but how it looks like doesn’t really matter if Alma can’t KO. Stamp did throw strong kicks and punches until the end.

I think the problem is a lot of mma people dont watch muay thai and think "aggression" and takedowns means a lot more than they really do. I also agree that the thai girl won but it was a close fight. Anyone claiming someone got robbed is just a fanboy/dont know much about muay thai..

Alma won that, she was pressuring Stamp the whole way. Still it was a great fight, Alma will dominant.

This was a close fight. Congrats to Stamp Fairtex.

it was close but nothing to congrat, AJ won the 3,4,5 rounds.. it was an "influenced" fight. no judges were giving it to SF only Chatri's ones.

Absolutely 100% Stamp is the winner Juniko actually put out a lot of punches but didn't hit the target, that doesn't mean she can win. Stamp is a good offensive game and the defensive game is better, and also more accurate therefore she becomes the winner. Both of them have really good performances!!

Oui, Fairtex est un fabricant de gants et shorts, mais aussi le nom de 2 camps de Muay thai. Un à Pattaya et l’autre à Bangplee. De grands champions viennent de ces camps. Et, c’est un sponsor pour d’autres combattants(es).
