One of the best quotes is at the last scene. The lieutenant congratulates Stallone and asks what the city can do to repay him for saving LA from an evil cult. Stallone says they could pay to fix his car. The lieutenant says he sure wishes he could but it’s not in the budget.
@stargazer2504
6 ай бұрын
Totally a movie trope- the cop uses their personal car to do their business. Fast forward to Bad Boys and Mike Lowery asks to have his Porche fixed and the captain says "No, that's why we drive police cars..." Fast forward to Jack Reacher and he says "Cops never vote democrate and they never drive their own cars" and the cop shrugs like... "yeah". Yup. IRL cops don't drive their own cars. The liability is way too much. Cobra was a fun movie, but nothing like the real world, until the Captain said, "Sorry, it's just not in the budget". That was the most realistic line in the scene.
“There is not a single decision in this movie that makes any f*cking sense at all.” Wow, that had me laughing out loud so hard. Thanks very much.

"Yelling drop it between shots" killed me! lmao!!!!
He wears his gloves ALL THE WAY through the Gun cleaning kit scene.😂
I loveeee the idea of an axe-wielding murderous cult with a compulsion to CLANK
The creepy photographer who was trying to hit on the damsel in distress is David Rasche. He played the lead in the show Sledge Hammer! which was a parody of those tightly wounded cops in movies and TV. Almost a spoof of the Cobra movie.

One of the greatest lines ever in a movie "go ahead I dont shop here " 🤣👌
9:38 Dude, you missed the baldy clerk in a costume doing the crazy murder dance.
There is a rumor,,,,, Stallone was originaly cast for ``beverly hills cop`` and it was supposed to be a big action film... but at that time , Eddie Murphy was a hit as a stand up comic so the producer taugth it was a good idea to give the movie a sense of humor so they ask Stallone if he could give the role to Eddie (Sly was very involved at this stage ) and they promise him to do whatever he want in exchange ,,, Later when Stallone had his greenlite he took the ``original script`` of Beverly hills cop and made Cobra
Aside from the first two Rocky films, and the last true Rocky film, nothing in Stallone's filmography can touch it. The scene where he snatched the shirt off the dude who tried to pop tall on him was worth the price of admission, by itself. It really was the way of the new world.
You literally make me laugh in every video. Absolutely fucking halarious. "BUT WHATEVER..."
I watched this movie as a kid and freakin loved it. Not because of stallone, but because one of my favorite bad guy actor Brian Thompson.
“Hey dirt bag, you’re a lousy shot. I hate lousy shots” 😂😂😂 great movie
the bad guy in this movie is truly awesome.
My Dad's coworker owned a video rental store back then so my Dad used to get VHS tapes right when they came out.He brought home Cobra one day after work. When Sly spins the gun then it zooms on the cobra grip we looked at each other amazed lol.One of my all time favorites no doubt.

The whole ritual of renting movies, especially on a Thursday or Friday night in the 80's and 90's with 50 copies of the new releases on the walls was like an adventure. Rental stores packed with people, going to the Action, New Releases section hoping to get at least one copy of some new movie. Good memory's.
I've worked in factories my whole life. The trope of "press button, random danger kills someone" is 100% accurate
I think I’m 3 hours deep of binging on this amazing movie review channel. Thanks algorithmic intelligence
Always a thumbs up for space!
As a fan of Stallone cinematic cheese, this video made me laugh harder than I have in a while. Brilliant job!
""Ah shit i really thought this last bullet would do the trick"" Space you are fn hilarious lmao 😂😂😂
Dude. Your style is gold. Thank you. Long time since i laughed so hard. My muscles hurt.
This is literally the most epic movie rundown I've ever seen. Yours should be the voice of all American movie trailers henceforth and forevermore.
You sir are my hero. Thank you for making fun of my childhood movies. Cobra is sacred but you did it perfectly. Please keep making more gold!!!
I loved this movie as a kid. My husband and I loved every minute of this video.
Im dying, but you left the best lines of the movie out, where the night slasher is screaming at him at the end asking stallone if he wants to go to hell with him 😆
I remember when I was in middle school one of my friends asked a police officer that came to our middle school on career day was there really a Zombie Squad. He just gave my friend that look of you're really dense.

That’s because you don’t talk about the Zombie Squad.
the night slasher didn't die at the end of Cobra. sure, he was hanging around but some blond chick rescued him and he became her body guard in Lion Heart until his true calling came when he realized his dad was an elder god. so he went home to Outworld, raised an army, took a screaming chick for wife after he killed her husband, took a 10 thousand year old princess as a daughter and invaded Earth in Mortal Kombat. trust me, connect all these movies together and it just makes sense.

You forgot about when he was Buffalo Bob in Joe Dirt. Though that might have been a brief psychological break after finding out that his dad was an Elder God lol.

@@lilmoeszyslak4810 he was the first one to die. yeah, as soon as the portal open, Steven Seagal bullshitdo didn't stand a chance against Sindel's scream.

@@kylewhite8434 dangit! i forgot he was in Joe Dirt. yeah, he became Buffalo Bob after him, his elder god dad, and his army was defeated by a handful of people on a leaking boat. so he settled somewhere in the south so he can put people in a hole in his basement and yell at them to rub the lotion on its skin or they get the hoes again.
This was the most cogent, clear, concise and complete analysis of this one of a kind blockbuster ever rendered
This would have made a more viable long-term franchise than Rambo. War zones are relatively rare, with regard to those that make narrative sense for Rambo to appear in. But criminals are literally in every town in America. There's always somebody who needs to be given a heavy dose of Cobretti justice. He could have made as many Cobras as they've made Bond movies...I'd go see one every other year or so....indefinitely...The look, itself, was iconic....the matchstick, the ivory-handled .45, the sunglasses, the black gloves, the overcoat....This is the one he should have committed to long term.

This makes me want there to have been a spinoff about OSHA's equivalent to cobra. "Every Ten minutes there are 14 time lost injuries, every six hours there is a murder caused by corporate negligence, and everyday there's a worker who lacks the proper personal protective equipment."

gadamn I laughed my ass off this entire video.. my cousins and I used to watch cobra all the time and not only did this video bring back great memories, your narration had me in stitches. Thank you !! You have my subscription and my notifications are on !
just found this channel but this is gold. I would definitely watch entire movies with this commentary, like mystery science theater 3000 style
Stallone should have received an Oscar for his masterful performance
